I for one don't mind hearing another fans view on things. It gets to biased on here at times. Even though he isnt right all the time, he brings solid info to the table. So I for one like hearing what the respectful opposing fans have to say

I could careless what he thinks lol. I get bashed on here a lot but other than Matt Elam I have been right and dont post on things other than recruits FSU is in with..what i said is the truth and if you dont like it I dont care...Someone was running with stuff off ESPN and as another poster pointed out ESPN is the worst recruiting service to use. Sorry I didnt continue stroking your UT ego by saying ya'll didnt have a chance with Dorsey.

Florida drops five-star defensive back Demar Dorsey off pledge list
ESPNU 150 safety Demar Dorsey of Boyd Anderson (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) is no longer being sought by the Gators and no longer considered a commitment.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Dorsey, considered the No. 2 safety prospect in the Class of 2010, has long been pledged to the Gators, but still looking at other programs.

He has recently expressed interest in Florida State, Southern California, Michigan and Tennessee.

Dorsey visited the Seminoles, Wolverines and Vols, and has scheduled an official visit with the Trojans. He was interested in USC under Pete Carroll and recruited by the current staff when it was at Tennessee.

It almost sounds like the gators dropped him. Anyone else seeing that? Any reason why?

I feels ya here. We never had a shot with Dorsey and i would be suprised if we are in contention with any of these big name guys left on the board. Thats why we are filling in slots with JUCO players and guys that were going to ALABAMA.........Birmingham before they got our offer. HA. I know it is not Dooley's fault, but the realistic approach to it all is Kiffin was bringing in MAD I say MAD talent to UT this year and now I am just depressed that they are probably not coming here anymore since I kept up with it all year and got to like some of the 'em that were coming. I just wanted to preach for a sec. Im done now. Thanks! GBO:cray:

Consistent with other posts I saw on GatorSports.com, the following was posted on TideSports by a fairly reliable Gator fan poster (TIFWIW):

" Gator staff has stopped recruiting previous commit 5* safety Demar Dorsey after Dorsey decides to continue taking visits.

Dorsey went to FSU last weekend and is now scheduled to visit the Lame train in USC this weeked. With many other recruits wanting in and Dorsey unwilling to trade his OV at USC for an OV to UF, staff notified him that he was no longer being recruited by UF.

Kid is a LOT like Markeith Ambles. Great raw measurables but lousy everything else so it is a mixed blessing I guess. He could be great or he could be the next NewKeys. Expect it to come down to Eddie Bag Man Gran vs Lame, want to pet my kitten, Kiffen. "

Per TOS No way Dorsey can get into any college. His grades are very very bad hasn't taken an ACT and doesn't plan on it. He'll most likely be a sign and place.

well assuming he could be eligible. don't you think our depth chart would be enticing? he'd probably get immediate playing time. he probably wouldn't start. but he would play as a freshman. BTW, who will be our starting Safeties next year? Jackson and Myles?
