'10 FL OT Chaz Green

Mike Farrell said Chaz was impressive enough this week that he is now discussion for a 5star ranking...

So Taylor to a 4*...Green possibly a 5*...

Anyone else you see getting a bump? Possibly Ambles and Miller to a 5* or Fulton to a 4*?

It depends on how Ambles and Jacques play in the Army game. They could come out and kill it and get a 5th star like Easley did. Rivals has made it clear that they aren't giving Fulton a 4th star no matter how many camp MVPs he won...

Did Miller do enough for a fifth?

Do you think Rivals will actually give Green his fifth?

When should we know about Taylor and Green?

Thanks ahead of time...:hi:

No...

I doubt they actually will, but he will definitely move up in the rankings a few more spots...

The new rankings should be out about a week after the Army game. Farrell has already said Taylor has his vote for a 4star. It just depends of what the others say...

I am surprised that Scalpem has not found some drivel to say that Chaz is enamored with Jimbo and will be turned to FSU :p

Agreed. He has been write a few time, but as LV said yesterday, all of them were kids that had been big FSU fans and were ripe for the picking once the coaching situation settled.

the tennessee volunteers might have a bright future in the running game, as they look to add two elite tackle recruits to their team in 2010.

According to espn.com's jc shurburtt, there is buzz that the volunteers are the favorite to land espnu 150 ot chaz green (tampa, fla./catholic). He would team up with ja'wuan james (suwanee, ga./north gwinnett), giving the vols two top tackle prospects in this class.

The vols lose senior tackle chris scott, but return sophomore aaron douglas. In addition, freshmen running backs bryce brown and david oku will look to run rampant next season.

As far as green, schurburtt writes, "scouts at the practices leading up to the game and the game itself felt like james was an elite tackle prospect and one of the best ones they had seen during the three-year history of the game."

I like the last part about James as well...... Interesting to see if they'll both move up on some of the recruiting services...
