The ACC took a BIG negative hit on a national scale when its two divisional "champions" were pretty thoroughly dominated by a couple of middle-of-the-pack SEC teams, IMHO.

Pac 10 (although they kinda suck as of late so you could argue they are further back)

I'll give the ACC the slight edge over the Big 10 but I think you could make an argument that the Pac10, ACC, and Big 10 are equally crappy. JMO

And the ACC is no where near as bad as the Big 10. Iowa was the second best team... IOWA!!!

SEC- obviously
Big 12- Down year, but perennially the second best
ACC- just because the SEC embarrassed them doesn't make them bad
Pac 10- solid, but play no defense
Mountain West- drastiaclly underrated (TCU, Utah, and BYU)
Big 10- Ohio St is best team and when was the last time they won a meaningful game
WAC- even though Nevada got embarrassed tonight
Big East- only team consistently good is WVU. Cin and Pitt came along finally and I think this conference will get better (Strong at UL, UConn is establishing a program)
CUSA- sucks
Sunbelt- Dwight Dasher is a baller

Pac 10 is MUCH better than the ACC, and maybe better than the Big 12 (outside of Texas). ACC is 4th at best.

1) SEC- Even in a down year, best conference in America by a WIDE margin.
2) Big 12- Good teams, great offenses, absolutely no defense (excluding Texas and Nebraska).
3) Pac 10- Having an up year and could be the same or better next season with USC most likely bouncing back, Oregon's continuing rise, and rising programs such as Arizona and Stanford.
4) ACC- Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Clemson, and Miami are the top tier of this conference. Rest of conference is not very strong.
5) Big 10- Without Ohio St and Penn St, this conference is the equivalent of the MAC.
6) Big East- Cincy and Pitt carry the banner here. Lots of mediocrity outside of those two.

Just my two cents.

Some of the better posters here are "trolls" by your definition.

From what I have seen of MiamiCane to date, he's not a troll.

I have no problem with a Miami fan being on this board. I think it's great to have different perspectives on this board. As long as he doesn't trash Tennessee athletics im fine with it. Which he hasn't. Please calm down. :peace2:
