I'm sure. That is why I think some of the 4-stars we have committed will eventually turn out to have legitimate 5 star careers. For whatever reason, I just get the feeling that a fifth star will be withheld from a recruit because of the school they pick.

anyone think maybe Eddie spilled the potential risk of the violations to Luc once he decided to take th FSU job. And this maybe a factor in Luc commiting to FSU???

i dont think so, believe he has been a nole fan growing up and his parents were pushing him to stay in state anyways........cant say i really blame the kid

He didn't get his 5th star back from Rivals in Tuesdays update, but I don't think he ever lost his 5th star anywhere else, only Rivals.

This issue has been known since Sept. Its just now that some other school blew the horn. I believe that it was Gran telling FSU about it and they ratted us out. I dont believe a SEC school would do it because under the SEC rules they have to go to te SEC first (its known as the Fulmer Rule) So if it went to them then they would of contacted the NCAA and would havea statement ready for the press. They were caught off guard as everyone else was. Gran went from being a quality christian man to the ultimate douche bag.

I am not defending CEG. Just playing devils advocate here but maybe CEG thought that things were shady here and felt that he should say something. I definitely don't know anything about this situtation other than what was said in the news and what I read on VN.

He worked for AU for 10 years and I feel that they have done some shady things in the recruitment of some of their players over the year. It didn't seem to bother him there.

Kids change their minds everyday.. I think FSU was silently recruiting this guy hard..

I mean for awhile their FSU was never even mentioned.. It was really thought to be between UF and UT.. even UF fans were suprised.. It just proves you never know anyting with these kids until they sign..

Speculating, while fun.. and addicting.. Can sometimes get your hopes up..

LV and 53 were just giving the information the received and I think this kid was a Vol up until EG left.. That just turned the page on us..

I still appreciate LV and Sab with all the information they bring us..

In all honesty, He was FSU bound from the beginning...He's always been a big FSU fan...He was just checking everybody out before making his obvious choice....People act like he was a commit to us when in reality he never was...But the bright side is, He is going to FSU and We won't have to face him unless its in a bowl game...Florida on the other hand gets to feel his wrath EVERY YEAR :)

another kid that wants to throw his career down the drain at FSU, so be it. It would be one thing if Luc chose the Gators - Great campus, great stadium, great program, great coach, big state school of his home state, good college town, bright future (I hate admitting these things about the Gators, but its true). Absolutely none of that is true about FSU - its a hell hole of a place, and they have a joke for a coach. Good riddance fading away into the abyss of anonymity Mr Luc.....

I just love how the kid choosing the school he grew up following and watching is throwing his career down the drain.

Last I checked FSU still has quite a few players in the NFL. Sure he may not have a great college career but who knows, he could be a part of turning around his favorite school around.

Just sad people bash these kids when they go elsewhere.

I had heard he was a Vol lock from my source as well. LV and Sab werent the only ones that fanned on him. A lot of recruiting analysts got this one wrong as well.
