anyone see the line luv said about how gran was honest and didn't hold anything back..... Seems to me the last couple weeks ceg put it in luce head he may go to luce childhood fav school. I guess u can't blame him if wanted out to get a headstart. I just hopekiff knew this was going on....

I have always said he is over rated, I stand by that.... yea Gran is a piece of s*** but we will be better off if we have someone closer to Kiffin and we will get a great coach....I can feel it..:)

So if he knew Jimbo was really running the program and nothing would change, why would he want to go to a program that has continually sucked the past few years?

sorry if this has already been posted, but i was told by a booster that gran is under investigation for recruiting players to fsu way before he accepted the job

Something weird happened here. I dunno if it was Gran or boatloads of cash or what. But something happened early last week...

Yeah its really sketch. I also had a conversation about it with some fsu fans today at work and they are kinda worried because they think something really sketchy is going on and it my bite them in the arse

Would there be punishment if it were confirmed that hewas trying to pull Ut recruits toward FSU while still on our payroll?

I have been wondering the same thing. I really have no idea what kind of punishment he or fsu would get if any. The guy I talked to didn't really know either.

Yea, LV, all of a sudden recruits start flocking to FSU....I guess we will see later. The only thing I can figure is Bobby Bowden kept things very much on the up and up.....and is now gone....or maybe JimBo was not working as hard in recruting trying to force him out and when he left went nuts...or free text books and test takers for life......no drug screens without prior written 45 days notice and how to get around them.....so on and so forth...:question:

good job luc, you made such a good decision. that fsu, gator game last week really made it clear that fsu is the place to be. i bet your excited to have talent around you and plenty of it. the resistance that your future team put up against florida's offense was similar to the french army's. meanwhile, our resilient defense will only improve. you were in line to be right in the middle of it. ask marlon brown what happens when all signs point to knoxville and you dont go. regret, frustration, and unhappiness rule your life. gotta love 18 year old kids. good luc jeff

Yall stole Janzen THE HITMAN Jackson last year so give us Luc :D

I'm thinking he saw that he could join a team on the uprise, and step in right away bringing back the dominance he saw when he was growing up. And according to rivals he was recruited by James Coley, who has been killing it recruiting wise here lately.

It won't take long in the ACC I'll admit that.

It's just the coincedence of Luc and Gran joining the Noles at the same time baby troll. I personally am not buying into it until I hear concrete evidence against Coach Gran but so far it doesn't sound good

Let's not sink to our rivals' level concerning unfounded accusations. :p

I think that something that happened was Gran going to FSU, that sealed the deal for him. He probably always wanted to go there but the situation with the uncertainty at DC and the head coach held him back. He likely wouldn't have gone there had it been Mickey Andrews and Bowden.

I agree with you. Bowden and Mickey back = probably no Luc or teammates. I think his teammates committing and Gran coming pushed him over the edge.

Also, maybe Jimbo told him who he has planned for DC and new LBs coach? Or is that against the rules telling before he/they are announced? Im not sure TBH

why does the main recruiting page of rivals have a headline that reads "Five star Luc talks FSU commitment?" Will they really add another star because he committed to FSU and not UT?

No, it's certainly not against any rules. They can certainly do that. I think most coaches are a little cautious about revealing to recruits the inner-workings of their coaching search though. What if they tell him one thing, and then they can't get that guy? Some would understand, but others could be put off by that.

Congrats on landing Luc. He's a good fit there.
