Christian hurt his back in a basketball game the other night. Tried to play through it but couldnt run, so had to sit. I havent heard any updates on this since it was originally announced, but I sure hope he is ok... he is a top target for us too!

Dude this was my big time want for this class.......Iam just as dissapinted right now as i was when i saw my first dog die at 6 this is just rediculous i thought we had him. But w.e Underachieve at fsu.

And for those who say Jimbo wont last, and talk about how much he sucks... his Offense this year did a HELL of a lot better than UT has in any of the past 4 years, so the proof is in the pudding.

Our DC is a done deal, the only reason it hasnt been announced is out of respect for the players he is coaching now.

And the reason Smart would leave Alabama to move to FSU is because he has strong ties to Fisher, who has strong ties to Saban. Saban brought in Sunseri to be Smarts replacement when this transition took place. Smart is from nearby tallahassee. And Smart will get a HC job much faster being the DC of a defense he controls rather than a DC of a Saban controled defense.

I understand the animosity of losing recruits, I truly do. And I understand the passion of UT fans, as I live in TN and I like TN as my second favorite team. But some of you guys... BY NO MEANS NOT ALL... but some of you are simply throwing childish insults out for no reason what so ever. One poster had the audacity to actually call it the criminoles, when just weeks ago you guys had two players robbing a convenience store at gun point with another player driving the get away car.

Now I know that situation may not be as it was initially reported, but the same applies to some of the things you guys are implying about FSU. Yes, Im a Nole fan, have been all my life having grown up in South Florida. But I love UT to, as they recruited me very effectively as a Junior and Senior in High School, and Coach majors was a man I will never forget meeting, PERIOD! I give props to you guys for doing such a great job with recruitment this year, and I will admit when you guys got the Byrnes duo there were posters on WC talkin trash too, but we had other fans classy enough to straighten them out.

In my humble opinion you shouldn't be mad at FSU or FSU coaches for recruiting this kid, it is there jobs. The ones you should be mad at are the so called insiders who convinced you Luc was a lock. In recruiting, when dealing with 17-18 year old young men, there are always uncertainties. These kids are impressionable and easily deceived. I honestly believe the NCAA should require a parent or coach to accompany ANY recruit on ANY visit, for the sake of the recruit.

Having said all that, you guys are good to go, you have a hell of a class already and there are still 2 months to go. You guys are gonna bbe kickin ass next year and competing for the MNC the year after, so be happy and enjoy the limelight.

I also think FSU will to, but then again, I drink the Kool Aid :p.

Didn't an FSU lineman pull an AK out in a club parking lot like 5 years ago? LOL and you're talking about one retard on our football team that just so happens to be from pahokee. Give me a break and you were wrong about the getaway driver. FSU is and will always be known as the criminoles. hate to break it to ya.

That was a gator lol. Ronnie Wilson I believe. Booted off the team right after. Some kids it doesn't matter where they go, they're going to get into trouble.

i dont want anyone who isnt all vol like corey miller and brandon willis! this staff will get talent that wants to play for national titles and not run of the mill acc teams

Dude, I wasnt bringing this up to talk smack about UT, I was responding to the dude who was calling out FSU as Criminoles. Yes we have to carry that monicker due to some old ****, but my point was him calling us out for that when you guys just had your issue wasn't really the smartest arguement.

If you will read back, I said I am also a UT fan as well, I'm not trying to throw any smack AT you guys, I am just trying to debate the smack talk about FSU.

And don't blow it out of proportion... the nickname was awarded for players receiving free shoes and merchandise as gifts, which was an NCAA violation, not a legal one. Sure, we all have our off the field issues, kids will be kids... UT isnt responsible for what Nukeese did... the important thing is they handled it after the fact accordingly. Last year some Nole players got in a fight with some Frat guys, and when the report was done the players who were charged were suspended, and eventually left the team. The schools do all they can, and I am mature enough to know that a lot of other crap goes on that never gets reported... but I am also mature enough to have an intelligent discussion about football without resorting to using a decade old monicker to try and discredit a Univerisity..... well.... that is unless it is Florida hehe.

for those needing a positive spin: At Least FSU is finally starting to recruit and steal top recruits from Florida again!!!! Lets be honest, Luc goes to FSU and sure, it hurts, but we are probably never going to see that guy again. Yet, he is going to see UF 4 times during his time at FSU, and none of them with little Timmy of Nazareth.... The fact that FSU is starting to get some momentum going will actually help us in the long run, b/c it will make it more challenging for Florida to just go on a sweep through Florida for the best players.... Congrats Luc and best of luck at the next week, beat the Gators!

Do you all think that the Vols had Luc at the top of their board for linebacker? Or were/are there others out there that fit our "D" better? Did we start giving him the cold shoulder or was this a recruiting "coup"?

I believe Luc was right up there for us. Something just went down here over the last two wks. in my opinion, him and his teamates wanted fsu.

A girl i know who is a hostess for UT said that when Luc came on his official visit he was one of the weirdest people she had ever met. Dont know that this kid is that bright, if you cant grasp the schemes then you're no help.

Did Luc sign with FSU, or was it a verbal? Rivals says he committed, but has his committment status as solid verbal. Is he an EE?

Actually its not...
But its like this. You turn over a rock and your bound to find another. Yes, it sucks Luc went to FSU. However, this staff will find someone to replace him.
