Considering FSU is relatively close to where his parents live in southern Georgia and the amount of money FSU will throw at him, I still think there in it. And the people who keep saying on here Luc is a lock are only kidding themselves.

Basically if UGA thinks he is the guy they want, then he is theirs. FSU very well might land him but if the money is the same, he will land at UGA. Too many ties there. I couldn't really understand a lateral move to anywhere but Georgia unless the money is a lot more.

Tell Mr. Luc, that the green ridges of East Tennessee look a lot like the green ridges of Haiti. I am familiar with them both. We even have a few goats (though not common) and sweet taters. :hi:

Well if we land Gran which its soundin like we will, than Luc is gonna be an even harder get for ya'll. That great coaching staff UT has is starting to fall apart which is expected with all the solid coaches you have. Either way like I said we should know very soon what his intentions are.

Fall apart? Falling apart is what has happened to FSU. 4 guys being looked at for huge raises and promotions is a great thing for our program.

UT will continue to cycle great assistant coaches through the program and will recruit just fine. I seriously doubt Gran goes to FSU, though.

There is no need for him to uproot his family to go to a lesser team in a weaker conference. We will meet or exceed what FSU is offering him and possibly upgrade his title.

FSU is on the way down and UT is on the way up. I would be more worried if another SEC school offered Gran or if Tubbs got a HC gig somewhere.

im in tallahassee now and if i was him i wouldnt come here with a family.... i dont see him moving his family twice in one year.... pay him and keep him

jus wondering. That cat is good. I dont think Jeff Luc would even get to play their unless their was an injury or he left for the NFL.

Don't worry. I think that Gran's family really likes it here. We just need to ante up on the money. Probably the only coach that might pull him out of here is Tubbs.

Hey Sab i know this is off topic and i couldnt find his thread but how do we stand with James Green since he is back on the market?
