Fisher has been at FSU for a number of years now and their offenses have sucked. So has their QB play.

Again the guy is a fraud.

He had one good year as an OC when he was at LSU. That is it.

FSU fans will realize this soon enough when the norm continues down there.

FSU's QBs have been pretty much terrible until Ponder's breakthrough this year...

Ok the FSU thing is completely untrue. He does not seem to be leaning there at all. However, some insiders on the gator boards tend to think Luc is going to end up at Georgia. This was new to me but these posters have some really good sources in HS football and have blogs based on South Florida football. Also this may be a reason why Telvin Smith has emerged for the gators as a possible recruit at LB.

The Luc drama has gone on forever, i can't wait for this kid to commit already because each week he seems to have a new favorite. I wouldn't be shocked if he committed to some place that no one so coming.

The NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions has placed Florida State University on probation for four years, reduced scholarships, vacated records and issued show-cause penalties for former staff members because of major violations in its athletics program.

The case involved academic fraud affecting more than 60 student-athletes across 10 sports, as well as impermissible benefits, unethical conduct by three former academic support services staff members, and a failure to monitor by the university.

They wont lose Joyner, you must have a membership to Scout and Rivals....Talkin to you fools on here is like talkin to a drunk. Jimbo/Bobby had nothing to do with the cheating but did the right thing and suspended them all. BTW it wasnt just football players it was the whole entire class that got caught cheating. And yea he is a great QB coach he had Ponder a 3* QB lookin like a Heisman contender this year, and if im right when he was at LSU he coached 2 1st team all sec QB's and 2 2nd team Qb's. This whole Jeff Luc crap is way overhyped and could prolly be the most overrated player in this class. We have a great MLB right now and to be honest wont really hurt if we dont get him......But will c what happens.

if Jimbo can only eek out 7 wins a year in the abysmal, pathetic ACC (whose top 2 teams were beaten last weekend by incredibly average SEC teams) how long will he be the HC?

You are right that he is the most overrated player in this year's class, but when most people are saying that you have the size of a NFL LB then it is easy for that to happen....

I give scalpem credit for still having enthusiasm about the FSU program. I know several FSU fans, and none of them are excited about Jimbo. They wanted an outside guy. Imagine how we would have felt as Vol fans if Phil would have stepped down, only to have Dave Clawson or John Chavis take over. Yikes.

Haha well you obviously know nothing about the FSU program than because it was reported that the day after Bowden retired we set a record for new Booster sign ups. Also, our boosters have assured us that money wont be an issue when looking for our new DC.

Getting a quality guy to be the number 2 under Jimbo will be an issue however. You will end up with an R. Steele type hire and try to pretend it is a Dungy type hire.

Well in case you didn't notice, this is the University of Tennessee board. Why would we spend our time learing about FSU? The only team most of us care about from the state of Florida is UF and that's simply because they are in the SEC East.

Georgia?? What the hell? That completely goes against everything he has said about DC & position coach being the most important thing.

This kid is either a complete wack-job, or there's tons of bad info out there about him.

Nah will land either Bud Foster or Kirby Smart, Foster's name has been talked about a lot lately...which is why players like Luc will wait to see what happens...But done tryin to debate with ya'll gl...

LUC is an EE man.... Do you really think FSU is gonna hire a DC within 2 weeks AND get Luc to jump ship? I highly doubt that. All Vol!

They have more than two weeks and FSU gaining 2011 commits from two of Luc's defensive teammates today surely didn't hurt their chances.
