They are still loaded at LB next year. They have recruited very well on defense except maybe DT. The offense is were I see FL struggling some next year....

DT is actually pretty solid. We have been playing without our top 2 DTs for most of the year and they have done well. DE we are losing Cunningham and likely Dunlap.

Defense should still be solid, but it shouldn't be up to the same level that it has been this year.

That too.

Florida is losing leadership next year on both sides of the ball it will be interesting to see who steps up to take that role once Tebow and Spikes leave..

The same will be said of us with Crompton, Hardesty, and Berry (most likely) gone.

I like Spikes but I am not at all concerned about him graduating. He is a great Gator but before him it was Brandon Siler and before him it was Channing Crowder. Jon Bostic is a young stud and will step in nicely. We return 2 other starters (AJ Jones and Brandon Hicks) at OLB so we should be good there.

Tebow will obviously hurt, but I am excited to see what Brantley can do. I think John will be a darn good QB for us.

The thug is replaceable. Tebow...not so much. Not only will he be missed for his skills but losing his leadership i think will hurt. One of the best leaders in college football without a doubt. He means more to UF than any one player from any team IMO.

I think that purdue and navy have truly help to reshape the SEC . The reason is simple, Navys win over ND will lead to a 7-5 record and his firing. This will lead to Urbans hiring. Why would he take the job, no tebow and easyier oppenents at ND. Purdues when over Mich. Will lead to rich rods firing and opens the door for les to take it. Why would he leave, already has a ring and knows with saban at alabama, second is the best he can do. I am unsure who will replace him but it will happen

i am seriously fine with les miles at lsu. Its very clear that they wont get back to where they were and they are on the decline but if miles leaves then a very good coach can come in and get them back to the NC considering the talent they already have and the great recruiting ground they are on

As much as it is weird to say it...so does SC.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that previous post, but I'm not sure who all they are losing on D, other than Norwood obviously. I do know that their Offense is returning some very talented WR's, RB's and a QB that has shown signs of improvement.

Isnt that crazy that we are going to miss Crompton? I cant believe the strides he has made with Kiffin, Reeves, and Chaney? That is the best recruiting pitch ever for a 2011 QB. Mr Jonathan Crompton leads the SEC in touchdown passes!! Go Vols, and keep it up Jonathan you make me proud to be a Tennessee Volunteer.

Does it really matter who they return or lose? It's South Carolina

This is the SEC the best coaches, and players, and universities make it up, and when one good coach leaves, theres 5 more willing and applying to take the spot. i hope miles, and cum stay where they are at.

Whole SEC EAST is wide open next year; UT, UGA, and UF all have a shot.

Everyone has a shot, but I think UF does have a significant edge. We are returning a lot of starters and of the 3 teams we will have the most experienced QB stepping in. Brantley has had 3 years in the system and I think he will step in nicely. The loss of Tebow will definitely hurt us, but it is not like our offense has reached its potential this year with him. I think the offense will be around the same place it's been this year. Struggling at times, but also putting up some good performances.

I would put UT second, because they don't really have s guy that can step in as QB next year IMO. It would be tough to bring in Bray as a true freshman. UT is losing a ton of starters on both sides of the ball and I am assuming Berry will be gone too.

UGA is in a complete free fall and looks awful.

That's my take on the east next year.

As for Luc so this isn't completely off topic, I read an article talking about the close relationship that Luc has with Strong and if he does take a job, I doubt he would go to Virginia, UF has no chance.

Stephens has quite a bit more experience than Brantley. Just saying...

I have insider info for the Michigan situation. They want Rich Rod out. He is an idiot and the big shots in Ann Arbor want him gone. Btw, very little known fact, but Les Miles was never interviewed at Michigan for reasons I cannot disclose. There is no way he will ever coach at Michigan.

Oh yeah, Jeff Luc is going to be a monster.
