77 says we have a sizable lead, but he doesn't have a lot of faith in 17 year old kid. Things could change quickly. But FlVol53 who's just reliable, if not more, claims it's a done deal. Luc is a Vol. Truth is though, no one will know for sure until he commits and enrolls.

CUM is a snake in the grass and will fight for him until the end. I'm sure he tells Luc that Strong is the HC in waiting and that Jon Bostic is moving to QB after Tebow leaves....

If there is a silent, it would be Luc. He and Monte just have to get the parent's approval....which some (53) think they have already gotten.

I think that things have changed for UF and Hicks and CUM is back on Luc. Also his parents could be the fly in jelly.

Not sure if I would totally agree. Yes, I think UT is the leader but Meyer has taking over his recruitment . It puzzels me that if any recruit visits the "hill' UT fans believe they have a shot. Dyer came this weekend and now they may "lead" but if any recruits visit the Swamp it means "nothing" UT fans are starting to sound overly cocky like many gator fans when it comes to recruiting. Maybe Mother Luc has a little more pull than Monte as I have stated with Mack if moms doesnt want you somewhere then as a son you aren't going. This is closer than WE all think may go to NSD if he's doesn't enroll early.

Meyer is no longer in the driver's seat here. This visit, if it occurs, is Luc taking one last peek at the Gators to be sure of what he already feels in his heart. I would wager that Kiffin encouraged it. The dude has balls of titanium. He isn't scared of anybody.

While I agree with most of your points, B2BGator is not a Vols fan... and furthermore I sensed sarcasm, but could be wrong.

As far as the rest, all I can say is look at Scroggins. I think he wanted to come to UT for the depth and star potential, but the combination of parents/friends keep him close to home.

Luc might be the same in a way. But I'm gonna keep thinking he's a Vol. Makes me feel better.

No sarcasm. I think Vols may get Dyer and not by default. If Kiffin used UF offense as a selling point for recruits then I know he pointed out Auburn "offense". If you look at the SEC only Bama is a better fit for between the tackles backs than UT. I think Lache is a better fit for JR.Tigers since his HS run so many "niche" plays.

I would say a visit to UF means much less in this specific case because Luc has been here so many times with his family. To my knowledge, his family has never visited a UT game and met with the coaches. I also believe he is very close to his parents and that may work in the gators favor. Also I couldn't agree more this one is going to come down to the end with these 2 programs either in December with an announcement because he's EE or on NSD.

Interesting logic. So you think he wants Luc to take an unofficial to UF this weekend and his official visit for the FSU game -- Tebow's home finale and, more than likely, Bowden's last trip to the Swamp?

Yes. I do. Kiffin is confident that what he is selling is better than anything anyone else can offer. He has encouraged kids to take visits many times before. Practically told them to in some cases.

Could it backfire? Yeah, and it scares the crap out of me honestly, but I've learned to never question this staff's recruiting abilities.
