I wish we could change month to week... My only thoughts are he wants to wait until its about time for EEs to head to campus to make it official so he doesn't have to take grief from everyone in state... if thats the case you cant blame him one bit... I hope its the case!!!

Come on man, if he were THAT into Tennessee then he would be committed. He isn't going to trip to UF to recruit Josh Shaw and Jon Fulton for Tennessee, 2 players that UT has no chance with.

He's probably going to get one more look at UF before deciding. Fact is, he likely won't be a public commit to UT until he can get his family up here for a visit. Which may be a few weeks.

I don't see how you can say a visit means nothing...

I mean the guy is going to watch UF and I am sure people will be in his ear the whole time. I don't know if this is a done deal. I don't think most people on this board know that either. But anytime you get a kid on your campus for gameday I would say that is a positive for UF. We have Nelson coming this week and are recruiting Jones as well. I don't know exactly how many LB's we are going to take but to me it doesn't look like this is over yet.

I think it all depends on if Luc makes it back to knoxville with family. If so I really like our chances. If not I don't think we land him.....

The visit doesn't mean all that much in the sense he has been to UF so many times he knows what we have to offer and what our coaches are about. He knows the depth chart and everything as well. He seems to just want to cover all his bases before making a decision. I believe it's closer than people think but UT definitely has the lead.

I think the big thing like everyone is saying Luc getting his mom to come to Tennessee on a visit. If this happens then I think he is pretty much a Vol, but until then I think there is a lot of speculation because Luc keeps everything to himself for the most part.

Yep. Luc has had a different leader 6 times now. Literally. People thought he was a Miami lock at first. Then it was FSU. Then Florida. Then back to FSU. Then Florida again. Now it is Tennessee. Is the 6th time the charm? Maybe...

I wonder if the gators are swinging back to Luc because they dont feel as confident about Hicks now

There are issues will all of the other schools Luc has looked at. His family doesn't like Randy Shannon for some reason. FSU is a questionable situation, as is UGA. USC and OSU are just too far away. Then there's the possibility that Strong may not be back at UF, as well as the fact that Jones and Hicks are higher on their board.

I don't think it is Shannon, more than it is Miami in general. He used to live in the Miami area and was in a very dangerous situation and that is why his mom moved out of there. This is the main reason that I think if his mom doesn't visit up to UT with him that he doesn't end up there.

True. If I had to bet, I would say that he has let our coaches know his intentions but also that his family must come up first. Problem with that is he won't be able to bring them up until they have a weekend freed up. That won't happen until after they have exited playoffs. That may be a few weeks.

I wouldn't bet against him. That is Flvol53. His info is right on usually.

Hopefully it continues.....

he is usually spot on, but even he has backtracked to say that it is a fluid situation and things can change.
