Thanks. Just wasn't sure. I wish they would add an early signing period like BB. Think how awesome it would be to have two signing days to look forward to.

I don't really see a point in contacting an EE once he is already in school. If you're taking classes, I'd say you are pretty solidly committed.

Once you enroll it's the same as signing your LOI if I remember correctly. If you want to switch schools you're still subject to the 1 year waiting period unless you drop down a classification.

I would imagine that the classes they are taking are in essence "free"... or under "scholarship". so i would assume that contacting an EE would be almost useless.

It's basically the same reason we missed out on Robert Marve. The coaches weren't allowed to talk to him because he was a student athlete at another institution.

So if Luc is going to be our 22nd commit and we are going to sign at least 3 OL's, where does everyone else fit in? I mean Minzie (sp?), Christian Jones, Dunkley, Wright, Dyer, and who knows who else we may be able to land. Do we start turning down guys already commited or just wait for some guys decommit?

So what's this with Rivals dropping him to 4-star--after he had an unproductive game against a team in Daytona--and talking about his muscle-bound stiffness issues? Does he have too much bulk? Sounds like a guy who will either be a stud or a 3rd team DE--too big and inflexible to play LB.

We couldn't talk to Marve because Miami refused to grant a release to UT. Doing so would have been an NCAA violation, and a major one at that (not the same as using a smoke machine, simulating a press conference, saying a recruit's name on the radio, etc.)

Somebody in our current commit list will go elsewhere, IMO.

He is big. He does have some lateral quickness "issues" (watch him play TE and its clear that won't be an issue). Jeff will be a star for the Vols.

Rivals said he wasn't fast twitch enough to be a 5-star.
