'10 FL LB Jeff Luc

From what I've heard, sounds like Luc will be a Vol. Anyone else heard anything suggesting this? Jw because my reliable source (good friend of mine) told me this is probably going to be the case.... Take it for what its worth. I don't post here much just thought I'd share.

I read earlier that he had family in Knoxville or at least the area. Is that true? I hadn't heard it before today....

Also LV you mentioned earlier that Gran or Kiffin would be in South FL. Atl radio said Kiffin in ATL today. I don't know if that is true but I was wondering if you had heard if Gran was indeed in FL.

Also FLvol77 seems to think this hinges on Strong leaving UF. Do you honestly think he leaves? FSU shouldn't be ruled out yet. But him being an EE helps us I think.

I don't know.... Seems like three or four things have to fall right for us. It would be better if he just loved UT and wanted to play for Monte IMO.

His uncle lives either in Knoxville or somewhere close...

I'm pretty positive Gran and Kiffin were in Florida this morning, then Atlanta. Someone was in VA and someone was all over the state of TN too. This staff was everywhere today...

I think teams are pushing Luc hard on the fact that even if Strong stays this year, his days as defensive coordinator at UF are numbered...

He wants to play for Monte...

If Luc ends up a Vol, I am going to drive my happy butt to Tennessee, track ooltewahvol down and personally beat the hell out of him with a large stick.

LV, Do you know who was with Luc when he visited UT? Was it his Uncle? Or is there something I am missing here? Is there someone else that has ties to UT close to him?

I do think it wouldn't be hard to sell someone on Strong leaving. He is going to get a job soon. But I think it matters how soon FSU makes their choices after Bowden especially at DC. But if he is a EE it helps us alot. If he chooses in November and he is feeling this staff out. I have to like our chances. I didn't earlier today....
