Notes: It’s still the Jeff Luc Show at linebacker. He is the complete focus of the Florida staff at this point. While there were some good reports coming out of Friday Night Lights regarding where the Gators stood on the board for Luc, there is so much rumor and innuendo regarding his recruitment, it’s hard to sift through what is true, and what is not. A team to be on the lookout for in regards to Luc is Tennessee, as the appeal of playing with Monte Kiffin and a favorable depth chart are playing in the Vols favor. Georgia has the commitment of his teammate Rogers, but the Seminoles have made an offer and are pushing for him to make a switch. Regardless, those three teams, along with Miami seem to be Florida’s stiffest competition currently for the No.1 rated ILB according to ESPN.

Let's hope the appeal of playing for Monte out weighs the allure of playing at the other schools. He would definitely make players worry if the come up/across the middle of the field.

That would be scary but I believe Berry will be a Pro next year unless he decides to stay for his senior year.

I figured it could be with Eric...long shot unless his parents get some good jobs.

or it could be with Evan...much more realistic. They would play one year together.

That's assuming Luc doesn't go pro after 2012. The Berry twins don't start college until 2013.

I think think it's to much of a stretch to think he would go pro if he was projected as a top round draft pic at the end of next year. I personally would like to see him stay play out his senior year that would be awesome. I guess we'll just have to wait and see though.

he's one of the few I wouldn't mind seeing go pro.
would love to have him back, but he's earned it.
usually shake my head at most of them, but he is one of the few exceptions.

Berry's definitely a Pro after this year! ...I believe his family is not in the best financial shape, as his father got laid off. I would love him to stay, but honestly why would you when your supposed to go top 5 in the NFL Draft anddddd, more importantly, need the money?!?

You don't know that for a fact. Plenty of projected first rounders and even top 10 picks return for their senior years. Not to mention Eric Berry really loves school and the university. Anything can happen. It's too early to say there's zero chance he returns.

If his parents can't find work between now and the end of this season, then there is zero chance he comes back. Even if they do, it's still highly unlikely IMO.

The head coach says he's not planning on having him back in 10.

Exactly,but back to Luc, I wonder if his admiration of Monte will be big enough to pull him to UT.

Monte has us in the mix with Luc, but I still get the feeling that he will be a Gator. JMO
