Florida, Miami offer 2010 linebacker Jeff Luc
Junior Jeff Luc landed his first two big offers earlier this week from Florida and Miami, ESPN's Brian Stumpf reports.

"These are two big offers and Jeff is definitely excited about them, but I don't think he's going to rush into a decision any early than before the end of the spring," says Treasure Coast assistant coach Aaron Sheppard. "This is the biggest decision of his life."

Luc totaled 112 tackles and nine sacks this fall and was a Class 5A third team all-state pick. The linebacker plans on attending the Nike Camp at Miami this spring.

From the Michigan site. USC and North Carolina have offered, joining Miami, Florida, FSU, Georgia and Notre Dame. He says he will go wherever he feels most comfortable, and that academics will be his #1 factor.

Then that eliminates any college in Florida:good!:

Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for playing physical football and hitting people in the mouth. But Jesus, it looked like he was trying to kill them poor little kids in those clips...

I don't get how Bama is on the majority of big time recruits' list. Are their assistants hitting the trail earlier when the kids are sophomores? Hit the trail harder? I know things are going to change with our staff but it bugs me.

I had heard about him last year from a friend of mine who lives in Jacksonville but never saw a video. HE IS A FREAK OF NATURE. I have never seen anyone run THROUGH BLOCKERS, and then DEMOLISH RBs or QBs. This guys would be perfect for us. Imagine him lining up behind J. Smith in 2 years.

He is a must get.

I have a hard time believing that this kid is only 240 pounds. He already has the body of Ray Lewis. I could see him playing end for us, but he also looks pretty good in coverage. I think he would be a great OLB in a 3-4.
