Take it for what it's worth, though. He said that James Stone was a high on our list and he really respected how Todd Raliegh has handled the media and what he's done with the baseball team. :unsure:

this. if he decides not an EE it can only help you guys. as Charlie may leave after bowl game. this may be deciding factor

I would have never admitted it, but you brought it up so here goes...

I think Charlie Strong may be the deciding factor in his recruitment. I know the kid really respects and admires Monte...but he has built a repoire with CCS that is obviously rock solid. With all the talk of Strong leaving for UVa (or anywhere else for that matter), Luc may go ahead and sacrifice a spring practice to make sure that he ends up exactly where he wants to be.

If you think about it, this defense, with every passing week grows stronger and stronger as a testament to how big a factor Monte's coaching REALLY is. Leading up to the season, it was just talk...but every game is bearing out.

With the players CLK, CEO, and CMK are after, this defense is going to be an absolute terror in the SEC. I think getting some face time with Monte and staff has him well aware of the golden opportunity before him. You just don't ever see such a renowned DC from the NFL take a large paycut to make a lateral move down into the college ranks.
Without Monte, I could see the lure of UF for him...but I think Meyer is plenty aware what he's up against in recruiting and on the field from here on out.

He's a vol. Most reliable poster on rivals just called it. I've only seen him be wrong once. That was on Robert Marve and things changed at the last minute. As of now, Luc is a silent commit to the Vols.

good news about the rivals poster thing too... is he a silent because the staff has a certain time they want him to make it public or just because He doesn't feel like getting harassed by everyone in the state of Florida from now until he leaves for Knoxville in January?
