10' CA RB Dillion Baxter

I like Neal pretty well. He doesn't have the accolades that others had coming out of HS, but he seems to be built like a brick crap house, and will impact us by his RS freshman year, IMO.

Yeah I've seen a lot of people complaining that we didn't land an "elite" RB last year but I think Neal is right in the discussion with people like Lattimore, Seastrunk, and Mack Brown. People were salivating over the thought of Brown for a while and Rivals final rankings actually have Neal four spots ahead of him, if you put stock in that.

Saw on the bottom line that he is no longer on the team, but is still enrolled at USC.

Overrated, overhyped. Not good enough to play at a school having serious RB problems

CLK, so hard up for dynamic Playmaker at RB, removedthe RS from WR George Farmer and moved him to RB.

CLK can't afford to miss on too many more guys with the scholly restrictions.

Sounds like Kiffin took curse of the running back over to USC when he left. Hope it leaves us soon.

CLK missed on a lot of guys.

Milton- can't even catch

Simms-worst QB in Vol history

Oku- not very good or playing in the wrong system

C.Miller-not all the way a bust but not anywhere near the hype

Z.Rogers-Can't catch at all

N.Richardson- overhyped

Mike Edwards- hate he got mixed up in that nonsense that night

Markeith Ambles- do I need to explain

Kyle Prater- is he doing anything?

Robert Nelson- may never contribute here

Nigel Mitchell Thornton- okay dude I don't know where went with this one

Jerod Askew- another bust he retained

F*** Lane Kiffin he's just a good offensive coach. He doesn't bring in a whole whole lot of real talent.

Ted Meline, Delvin Jones, Bryce Brown, Darren Myles are a few more. Has Ralph Williams done anything yet at Ole Miss?

Ralph Williams has appeared in 7 games. 11 solo tackles. 12 assists. 23 total. 2 tackles for loss (-13). 1 sack (-11). No other stats provided from the Ole Miss web site.

He's also listed at 6'0" and 238 lbs. Pretty good size and athleticism. He would've been able to contribute here.

He and Shackleford (sp?) are two LBs I wish we could've kept from switching to Ole Miss.

How's our offense doing without the talent he recruited? :p

I didn't get on Bryce because I feel he was screwed by Kiffin and his own dad.

Meline- was a crazy situation too with him playing defense

Myles- was going to be a good player but he kept getting into shenanigans

For all the hype and talent, Brown hasn't seen the field with K-State. Not sure what his status is, but he has not made the desired impact. Or any impact.

Not sure what was crazy with Meline. I very well could have missed something, but I was under the impression that he just didn't develop as a player. Lots of guys are great athletes, but that doesn't mean they're football players.

And I think Darren Myles is the perfect example of the mistake that Kiffin/Orgeron are prone to: risk management. They can pay lip service all they want to "character," but when you're in the situation that UT has been in - and USC will soon be in - you cannot afford to miss on many players. Attrition on academics and behavior is unacceptable when you're trying to build numbers. That's why our 2009 class sucked, and it could be a problem for USC's 2010 class.

I agree with BB. Myles would have been dirty. He was just an idiot.

Myles had run ins that weren't that big except he fought the wrong person at the bar(the police). I don't think he was really a bad kid at all. Wish he had gotten a chance like Janzen got. We dealt with a lot more from Janzen than with Myles. I personally think he would have been just as good of a player for us as Janzen was.

Myles was recruited by Bama and LSU. He had committable offers from both. There were no flags on his character coming out. He was a coach's son and had no problems in the classroom. He just had some run ins at the wrong time.

Fair enough. He was my favorite recruit in that class.
