Yea, but I really don't know how much of a real chance we had. I mean I know it is useless to say it and don't flame me for saying this , but if Kiffin had decided to stay, we probably would have been a year to two ahead of where we are right now in terms of recruiting. the loss of Christian Jones (assuming he really did commit) Robey, the DT that picked LSU sry 4get his name and everyone else we lost set us back. And that is not at all a knock on Dooley I think he did a tremondous job getting players in the situation we were in.

And LV I agree USC offense will be one of if not the best in the country in the coming years.

That doesn't mean anything. I played at a predominantly black high school up here in Cincinnati and the best DB's we ever went against were the white kids at the GCL-South schools (Elder, Moeller, St X - all powerhouses - In recent years those schools have beaten the likes of Hoover, St John Bosco, Louisville Trinity, Charlotte Independence, East St Louis, Cincinnati Colerain, Dematha, etc.).

I bet hardly any of them were D-1 prospects but they were all smart and extremely fundamentally sound players.

I didn't see his perfodrmance in the AA game. I'm not saying Baxter is not going to be a good back. If I had to choose, I would take Dyer over any back. I think he's gonna give teams fits. He's has that low center of gravity, & is the perfect build for a every down SEC back. JMO

He's way more one-dimensional than Baxter or Seastrunk.

I didn't know that Ben Tate had the same label coming out of Maryland. Based on what I saw of him, he seemed much more capable of being an all-purpose back in college, at least in comparison to what I've seen of Dyer.

Dyer is built like a mack truck. He can step in & play from day 1. He has great speed & balance. He's like a Ray Rice type of back. I think he also had some decent catches out of the back field in AA game. Coach O wasn't after the guy for nothing last year. I think he was our #1 RB target imo.

That's a good comparison. I would put Baxter right ahead of him but not because of that video. I think he was just under the radar last year because Rivals listed him as an APB and he had been committed to SC since 9th grade so he didn't get the pub Dyer, Seastrunk, and Lattimore got.

I like Neal pretty well. He doesn't have the accolades that others had coming out of HS, but he seems to be built like a brick crap house, and will impact us by his RS freshman year, IMO.
