But its just a known fact like you all have been saying... UT is just 1000000000 times better than SDSU. why would he need to check it out first if its just known that its that much better?
Not necessarily. Kids who grow up out in California have a much different perspective than kids who grow up in the Midwest, South, or Northeast. Maybe the kid is into surfing. Maybe he would like being closer to home. There are just way too many things that go into making a decision of this magnitude.

If you knew you could probably start 2 or 3 years and live close to home, and wake up to San Diego weather every day of the year, you might pick that if that's where you grew up.

See, the problem is that you are in the wrong place. While you are further south than some kentuckians, you are dumber than most canadians. Hurry up and bleed to death and go troll the ohio st chat rooms.

Go start a thread labeled out of state Vol fans not excepted. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TYLER BRAY!:peace2:

Pot calling kettle black. Didn't you refer to me as ignorant?

definition of the word ignorant..... "uninformed; unaware."

definition of the word idiot......... "a person of the lowest order in a former classification of mental retardation, having a mental age of less than three years old and an intelligence quotient under 25."

would you like to see some synonyms of each word? cuz they are completely different. Mine was in no way an insult.

Thank you Webster

Tip for the day:

State your opinion (in a civil manner) and don't worry about it if people don't understand...

Also, don't get upset if people disagree..

1. if they dont understand it when it is presented in a civil manner, may i then present it in a barbaric manner in hopes that something will click?

2. i wasnt upet over people disagreeing as much as i was with them continuing to call me names a dis my state.

Could be this is why you get called names...

Question: If you're sure of yourself, why do you care if it 'clicks' or not?

...and so here ends the lesson.

Back to Bray... I think he will be a VOL in the end...

ah touche. but the names usually come before the the barbaricness!

anyways, i believe he will go to SDSU. we will get sims.

Doubt we'll get Sims. I'll wait to see what any of these guys do their Senior year before I decide who I like the most

UT laid the offer on the table. he could have already committed if he wanted to. dont be ignorant.
The reason why the verbal committ was made to SDSU is because at the time SDSU and Fresno State were the only offers he had. There is a difference in being recruited and actually having a offer. SDSU gave him a time table to verabally committ or have his offer given to someonelse, so he committed. At the time UT was not even in the picture, they were after Scroggins and Rettig , so after both chose USC and BC respectively they (UT) offered Bray without even seeing him. They went on word from the guys at elite 11 . That was all happening at the same time. Now with UT in the picture and him being a Manning fan. You can come to your own conclusion's. He is a great fit for Kiffin's pro system. And he is not going to committ without at least looking at the school.

Maybe He's one of those guys that would rather be a big fish in a small pond. But after reading his interview it does seem he is more competitive than that. IMO he will come here unless he starts getting a lot more attention from the bigger west coast schools.

And the more prominent of those programs already have a committed QB in the 2010 class that is rated higher or nearly as high (per Rivals). I expect that, if Bray was offered by one of those schools, Kiffin and Co. would quickly be helping those commits understand the new reality they face with their original choice.

This kid has alot of upside. He did pick SDSU because at the time that was his best offer. But things change. Right after he commited SDSU also got another QB out of Texas and than UT came calling. I think if these events would have transpired prior to his decison that SDSU would not be in consideration for him. I also remember when UT first offered him and his dad was wuoted as saying SDSU has nothing to worry about and hewas not looking at UT. Also I think is was Bray than that said he was going to visit the school. Things change and now he is coming. If the staff wants this kid, he is theirs to loose. Once he gets on campus I think he will commit if UT will accept his offer.

Thank you Webster

Actually he's right. Most people use ignorant as an insult, but its not nearly as bad as idiot. Ignorant just means you don't know, but could certainly learn. Idiot means you can't learn.

But I am enjoying the kindergarten fight we have going on right now. As there isn't much news on Bray at the moment anyway.

Yeah, but if that is his attitude towards his college football career, he will never amount to a whole lot and most certainly never make it to the NFL. I have to believe weather and surfing aren't his two main criteria for choosing a school. Close to home I can see, but UT would be better in every other way.

Yeah, to you, because football is THE most important thing to you when you put recruiting into perspective. You LOVE the game. We don't know if this kid is built that way. We just don't know. He could visit and absolutely hate everything other than the football team and deem Knoxville a place he would hate to be. It's conceivable.

Listen, Indianavol4eva is just here to stir up the masses. He just wants/needs attention. Hes just trying to push everyones button. He thinks of himself as the 2nd coming of JoeyDupree and Dickens, only he doesnt realize that hes not nearly as clever, nor has he been here long enough for people to care. My advice, ignore him and he will get bored. Dont feed the troll.

I already ignore the other two. What is one more?

I agree. It would be different if his posts were actually funny or entertaining.

If he wants to surf and be in warm weather he will go to SDSU. If a wants a greater chance to play in the pros he will go to UT. Plus, its not like SDSU is across town from where he lives (as was the case with JS). Kingsburg is in the middle of the state near Fresno. But thats still a lot closer than Knoxville.
