due to the fact that he knew last week does not mount to much IMO cause i still believe that he would have done it at the 7on7 i still believe he is a VOL he jus wanted to get home to tell his dad look this is my choice face to face and not over the phone. i know this may sound :crazy:

oh lane will NEVER stop, but i dont think it will have much of an effect... this is a HUGE loss, some say theyd rather have other players(not qbs) for example Luc, but scroggins(or another bigname qb) is SOOOOO important to this class... his commitment would bring in alot of talent no question about it.. i dont even wanna talk about it anymore.. theres tooo much to say, and too little hope

Is it me or is something not adding up here? I am beginning to think that this decision has been made for sometime now. It seems like every time something gets reported after speaking to JS or his dad, the exact opposite happens the next day.

It adds up.
A bunch of "Recruiting Guru's" overreacting to every little thing, and some that don't have a clue thinking they know what's happening, a whole lot of opinions, some facts= High drama here.
It just depends on how you view it. Makes sense to me.

It's really not that uncommon nowadays for a recruit to have had his mind made up for a while, but then hold off on their announcement till they can get a press conference

He is saying USC went after Barkeley, Sanchez and the like hard. They waited to offer Scroggins. Thus the same scouts think Scroggins is not as good as them.

Ugh, I want to say he is going to shock the world. But then, regardless of the spread, I wonder about FLA. THEN I want to come off my cloud and say he is going to USC. It's all so hard to say. Here is a thought though. He really wants his Dad to be at his announcement. Now, of course that is natural, but he is making it a big point. I know if I lived in Cali and announced that I was turning down USC to go to UT... and I am still in HS, I want my DAD THERE! LOL. Additionally, it would cost a lot for them to come back to UT if he knows that's what he wants to do. He knows we want him and want him badly. We lost Rettig who would have been second choice. We made it clear there and I respect Rettig's choice (and Scroggins' regardless of his decision). But, we also made it clear to Scroggins who we want. He will have the shot at playing early. So, what's my point. If you want to speculate that is obvious. But if you want me to guide you any closer to what is actually going to happen... I CAN'T... THIS SUCKS!!! THAT'S MY POINT!!! HA!!!

Scroggins. We hope you are willing my brother.

Man, these threads about Scroggins drive me crazy. He is a 16/17 yr old and is probably the key to our future. Who knows what he is thinking? We can only guess on this board.
