Heard from a very very reliable guy who talked to someone that says scroggins and bailey will announce at this weeks oregons 7 on 7 together. If they announce together no doubt its probably usc.

lol dam JS is getting some Hate from wilson fans!

Lakewood, Wilson, and Poly were all at it in Saturday Passing Leagues this weekend, the former two in Santa Fe and Poly in Mission Viejo (which the host team won)—Santa Fe saw a familiar sight for CIF-SS fans, as two Moore League squads met in the semifinals, with Lakewood pulling out a 29-28 win over Wilson to advance to the finals, where they lost to Gardena Serra.

Even though Lakewood advanced the farthest of our local teams, it may have been Wilson who made the biggest waves in the SoCal scene, winning their first seven games with a sophomore quarterback nobody outside of Long Beach has ever heard of. That QB, Brett Harper, connected well with Bruin WR Josh Bell, and Wilson's defense put them over the top in a few games, impressing some of the other coaches in attendance. The Lakewood offensive machine was in full effect, as Jesse Scroggins continued to improve his recruitment standing, though his receivers were dropping some pretty catchable balls.

The Lakewood/Wilson semi matchup was the highlight of the day, with a one-point differential being posted in the emotional contest because of the tourney-mandated time limit. Could it be possible Wilson will player spoiler sport this year, the way Jordan did last season? It's way too early to tell, but an accurate sophomore quarterback, athletic wide receivers, and a solid defense aren't a bad way to start. We're told their lineman placed in the top ten out of forty teams in the Big Man competition held at the tournament, which won't hurt either.

Yeah I always believed that if they (or atleast Scroggins) announced before the Elite 11 camp, it would be a USC commit. If we made it to the Elite 11 Camp, then we would have a chance. I hope I am wrong about them committing to USC! :no: :banghead2: :realmad:

New article on Scout "InsideTennessee Recruiting Mailbox." i know this is usually about a whole lot of recruiting news but is there any useful information about Scroggins in it. Anyone with membership can summarize?

and the interview 3 days before that he was all about USC. they dont mean anything. he is still a USC lean. its in our best favor if he waits to commit on the 25th.

Yeah but it appears he may be doing it sooner, at least it was mentioned a few posts above. This is not good news in my opinion.

6-foot-1, 195-pound safety Dion Bailey showed great instincts while patrolling the Lakewood secondary. Bailey informed us that he will make his college choice this coming week at the Nike 7-on-7 Passing Tournament in Beaverton, Oregon. Bailey will choose between the rival USC Trojans and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

how do you figure? his interview about USC was equally incunclusive as was the one about UT. he wants to play with Bailey who commits next week and is likely to chose USC over Notre Dame. his immediate family is 20 minutes from home. and now, just look a few posts up, people are saying that its likely he will commit with Bailey next week at the Oregon 7 v 7 camp. if he commits early, it wont be to UT. period.

so, elabortate please.
