Watched Jesse's video and his interview. First time I have heard Jesse speak. Dion Bailey will be a major influence on this kids decision. Obviously his family will be a major role too. Seems like a nice kid, not the most articulate (but who cares).

His vids of the scrimmage in the inter view vid were awesome. This kid is smooth as silk. He will be an awesome player

I feel like he will also, this is what is so confusing. According to a June 16th article on rivals, Bailey is planning on visiting UT with his father the first week of August. This is after Scroggins scheduled announcement. If what Bailey does really influences Scroggins, why is he waiting until then to visit UT? I assume is will be an unofficial since it is so early.
Then again, he might have decided not to visit over the last few weeks.

According to multiple people I talked to during that episode, he was coming here up until the last week.

Yep that is why it is an easy miss. I believe the money issue for the one semester is what changed his mind Plus he will look good at Purdon't, they only play one to two real Ds a year.

I have only seen him be wrong on Marve before. Other than that, the guy has a good track record.

Thats the only one I remember either, and honestly, I think he was right but Marve flipped at the last minute. I think he basically said that as well right before the press conference.

what got Marve was he established a realtionship with Purdue coaches but not being able to speak with our staff until he enrolled was the back breaker. He liked the Purdue coaches and our staff was unknown to him. He just couldn't get over that...

Be like us accepting a job somewhere without interviewing over a job that we had multiple interviews for...

Well he isn't announcing till the 25th, so he could change his mind the last week just like Marve and FLvol could be wrong again? No?

I know parents of former players that played at Tennessee. I know those parents that could not afford to come to the games and I know parents who could afford to come to the games.

I can say in both cases it was an EXTREME hardship on the families. I saw the suffering of those that could not afford to come. I saw those that had to spend all night Friday travling to arrive at 10:00 AM on game day to see their son play.

It is a very tough thing on the families. Either way so I can totally understand families wanting their sons to play close to home.

A "chance" to make NFL can't even make the top list for over 90% of the kids recruited as a reason to go 2000 miles to play. Less than 10% of the D-1 signees each year will get drafted.

JMO

Good post, but sad that it has to be explained.

Tommy Rees just committed to ND, does that hurt, help, or not matter in regards to JS.

I am guessing doesn't matter.

I'll preface this by saying I believe those posters who immediately pile on a guy after not committing to their school are ridiculous, but you have to question a kid who's supposedly leaning USC but is quoted in a paper as being concerned about our secondary violations and believing Meyer has ever ran a pro style offense at UF.
