When we beat (yes, WHEN we beat) Florida and Alabama I want to do it in ORANGE!!

Now a Halloween game vs. SC might be pretty cool...

sorry... NO FASHION!

I do it mostly in jest....some goobers gave me grief over the thread I made just asking for a thumbs up or thumbs down on some minor changes.

I figured why not just give'em the full Monty? :shaking2:

Even when Jesse commits do you think that is the school he will definitly end up at? Or do you think that its not over till he signs his LOI and he will switch sometime before NSD?

So I just started reading about all this recruiting and I find this site to be a great source for info. Dont flame me for this but can someone fill me in on our recruiting for a QB. This is what i have so far:
Scroggins is the only top QB really left.
We have options behind him like Rettig, Rees, and maybe Grayson?
How much better is Scroggins than these other three tho?
Are there any realistic options we're looking at in the JUCO ranks?
What makes Scroggins so much better?
Ive seen Rettig compared to Cutler and such so how can he only have 1 offer?
I get the feeling that without Scroggins we're in a bit of trouble

that uniform is sweet.
Thanks...I was just playing around, and ended up liking it...perhaps for our most hated rivals.

Getting back to Scroggins, Rettig + Cam Newton may be a better solution in both the short and long term...should Jesse choose elsewhere

Are you on Oregon's uniform committee? :)

If you asked Bryce Brown, he'd tell you that their uniqueness is actually an asset/draw, not a deterent. Not saying we need to do that...they have to offset that terrible nickname (Ducks) somehow :)

....but adding a new twist is certainly in order IMHO.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program

I tend to be a traditionalist, but I kind of like the black uni you came up with... Would you mind if I borrowed it?

Larry, it's truthful statements like this that make us a little anxious to sign a QB.

Has anyone ever played QB for both the Orange and White teams in the spring game?

not to my knowledge.

as far as anxious, we well remain anxious all the way to signing day. DOn't forget, we had 2 QBs committed last fall. Things can change. I don't care if we have 2 committed by Western game. That still means 5 months to sweat them signing. That is really true with how poor all the QBs are in this class.

CLK may commit a couple this summer and then find better one's in January.

that thought never crossed my mind. good point, uhh, Larry, i do believe.

Thanks. That makes sense. There will be less ambiguity about what 'Kiffin's system' is, we will have inked even more beasts, and the staff will have had a chance to see these guys (HS and Juco) play this fall. They'll also know how good Nick Stephens is by then and what the 2010 season looks like with him at the helm.

what about black shirt and orange pants, snoopy on the side.
spurrier would say, "i got rocks", after the game.
we'd all do the ridiculous peanuts dance down the strip.

Yea man it sounds like you bout got it!And yea its a great site to get info on!:good!:Sroggins is about 2x better than the rest of em in my opinion go to youtube and check there highlights out it lets you kno a lot!Rettig would be our second choice he dont have what you call the best highlights but as been blowing up in camps. And hell yea we will be in some trouble if we dont get Scroggins its almost the brake or make of the class!

Football news keeps trickling out of UT at a snail's pace. I guess that explains the erroneous reports about Eric Berry’s 13-year-old brother, Evan, “committing" to the Vols. The youth said he was committed to Tennessee (as a fan) at this point in his life which was turned into an “early commitment” to play for the Vols. I am sure that Eric and the coaches at UT had a grin over that one when it found its way onto ESPN.

Coach Kiffin gave us an insight as to why they have not yet signed a quarterback for the 2010 class. He is looking for a quarterback that has the intelligence to run the system, not just be a strong armed quarterback.

That could be a plan caused out of necessity after many on UT’s short list have signed to play elsewhere. Jesse Scroggins is mulling over his latest scholarship offer from USC (Southern California, not South Carolina), but the Vols have another obstacle in his recruitment.

Scroggins reportedly wants his cousin, wide receiver Jerry Anderson, from Germantown, TN to be offered a scholarship to join him at UT.

So far, Coach Kiffin has not relented to this request but with fewer options left for the 2010 class and only one scholarship quarterback returning, that could change.

I like how he says to join him at UT!:dance2:
