Funny thing is that he didn't work out much here when he came, but yet it looks like he did MUCH more at USC. Kinda telling, IMO.
His coach let the cat out of the bag sometime back. Jesse has had to deny it ever since so it didn't mess with anything at camp. Denial is something that happens all the time in recruiting.
I don't believe that crap. The one article (it wasn't even a full article) that came out was from ESPN, no one else reported it. If he really did get an offer, don't you think someone at rivals would have known about it? I don't believe that at all, he was ecstatic that he just received a USC offer yesterday, and he wouldn't have been that excited if he had known about it for all this time.
I was just going to pose this question...
how is it that he can't workout for Florida and barley throws for UT, but he can go full out for USC only a couple of days later.
Folks, that isn't a good sign.
No necessarily, IMO. If he already had offers from UF & UT and had the upcoming opportunity to compete for an offer at USC, why work out at UF & UT camps just before the USC camp? What could he potentially gain or lose by doing that?
You'll find as you get deeper into your reporting that prospects confirm and deny that they do and don't have offers all the time. There was a big deal made about that article because it shouldn't have been published in the first place, so then they had to deny it even happened pretty much. It happens frequently, and it's frustrating to those who are following it.
This according to Wearesc.com. I still think he will be a Vol. My uncle is a big SC fan that lives in LA and has alot of connections to SC, heard that Scroggins is a silent to UT. Take that FWIW.
