'10 CA QB Jesse Scroggins (USC Solid Verbal)

Which school will Scroggins verbally commit to tomorrow?

I think if we get Scroggins, he will be our only QB in the 2010 class. If we miss on him and go after Brunetti then I think we go after a lower tier #2 guy like Rees...

I read that thread, and I don't know what to make of it. The guy has been paying $10 a month for over 6 years to be able to post on that board and read the stuff. But in those 6 years, he had made only 1 other post, and that was about running through the T in '06. It's like Kevin Scott said, either the guy had been setting there for 6 years just reading everyone's posts, and decided that he felt like playing a joke on all of us today, or he has some real info...

UT had three from DeSoto Texas in the early 80's. I think that one of them was a kid named Wesley Pryor. He was the fastest white kid in the nation at the time.

I think that we also had 2 other players come in with Cedric Wilson in the 90's.

you would be very surprised at the number of people that have information and never post on VolQuest. There are a lot of them. From former players to fans with contacts in the athletic department.

I know a lot of them and they have never posted. Very likely, there are 5 or 10 times the number of subscribers over there to the number of active posters..

Troy Hale and Tim Hendrix were the other kids that came in with Wesley

what family does he have in Tennessee? I'm not sure I've heard what family he has here.

Lot of fans hung up on family being a "big reason" to choose Vols. I've had family (aunts, uncles and cousins) in Ohio for the last 40 years. No way would they ever factor at all in a decision to accept a job in Ohio.

Now if his Mom and Dad are here, it becomes a factor. But if they are on west coast, IMO, family not a factor.

Anyone know?

To your point, Bryce's brother is at Miami so family matters to some and not to others.

As a fan base if Bryce's brother was at UT and Bryce picked Miami we would all flip out.

I'm sure someone on here can give you exact relation, as well as addresses and phone numbers, but I don't remember the family title. Just know it was mom's side of the family and that he has visited often. If memory serves me, I think I remember reading that they make a trip at least once a year.

his mom grew up here if i remember correctly....so i am assuming he has aunt/uncle and cousins in TN

Tennessee, I have family from there and my mother is originally from there. I don't really have a top (school), they're all even – every school has a specific thing that I like."

Who wants to post there when every other post has about ten extra large photos on it and the posts take forever to read due to all the scrolling down for miles and miles. there is some good info over there though.

Tis true. He has family here in TN. What he has said in interviews is that he wants to come see our campus and see if it feels like home.

Then my memory obviously didn't serve me well. I thought I remember some reference to the frequency of their trips to TN. Maybe it was from when he was younger, or it could all be a bad memory at play. I have no idea how you guys keep all this stuff straight, this one of the most high profiles guys on the board and I can't even remember his facts.

His dad made Jesse travel to TN from Cali by holding his legs and forcing him to wheel barrel all the way down I 40. Good for arm strength
