After Tebow leaves there is no doubt that UF will change its offense, but the question is to what extent. We will see soon enough with Brantley as he is an athletic pro-style QB.

I personally don't think Meyer is lying about changing the offense, but it will never be a true traditional pro-style offense that features drop back passes and a heavy dose of the running back.

No he is not lying but there is no competition there for being a starter early. Brantley is the QB for two years after Tebow leaves. Scroggins will not be able to red shirt they will need him for depth. So In his Junior year it will be make or break against whatever guys they got in there 2011 and 2012 classes. If Scroggins goes to UF he may never see the field.

Edit: Jordan Reed is already there as well. Scroggins can say all he wants competition is not a concern. At UF he is likely never to play. If he goes there hats off to him he really believes he is that good.

We won NC with Leak at QB and took 85 - 90% of our snaps in 2006 under center. He changed his offense to fit Leak. Why would he not revolve his offense around a great passer?

You need a running back to have a pro style offense. UF has a couple of scatbacks at best.

Neither of those guys make you take a DB off the field. That is the issue. Tebow was there up the middle running game when he is gone they need a replacement. HMM..Jordan Reed is 235 and could get bigger at QB--I wonder what CUM is thinking? Teams will run standard 5 DBs to 6 DBs unless they find a running game to replace Tebow. Rainey can leave after this year if he has a good year can't he? And he is not a up the middle runner.

The update from the LSU site was from last week. That would have put him at Florida THIS WEEKEND, and then at UT next weekend. However, he didn't go to Florida this weekend, so who knows when in the hell he's going to Florida, if at all.

This shows that he is really interested in Tennessee and he wants to have gotten all of his concerns answered before he leaves town. I predict that Scroggins committs to Tennessee in three weeks!

The only ones from that list I think would challenge Scroggins for top of the list would be Heaps and Sims. Bell and Hendrix would (and do in the case of Hendrix) still fall behind. (imo)

I don't think he'd start at USC. Matt Barkley will start 3-4 years there. You've got to look at it. He'll redshirt this year and probably start next year. Scroggins would really be on the pine there.
