It would be a situation where USC stays in it until the end. It's like having 2 REALLY hot chicks and one being across the country, and mostly because of needs though you get with the chick 20 minutes away.

Exactly. Though it would get the attention of a few receivers, I ain't counting this chicken until it is hatched.

Honestly I am over all the drama. The only QB I would lose sleep on would have been Heaps. There really is not QB in this class that is guaranteed to blow it up next season. I still think Scroggins is a two year project and wouldnt start till his sophomore year.

Jesse's dad is a selfish person. I mean if Jesse doesn't want to come here then fine, but if his dad is pressuring him into coming to USC then thats pathetic. For God sake let your son make up his own mind this is for his future not his dad. Im tired of these parents ruining their kids lives. If Jesse goes to USC or Florida he will not play for many years to come and at UT he would start from day one. Its a no brainer!

I'm not sure that is the case. It might be a situation where his dad is simply telling Jesse how it is, that he can't see him play if he went to Tennessee and Jesse may be taking that into his own decision. It doesn't mean that his dad won't let him go to Tennessee. I respect the fact that he has a good relationship with his father and maybe he, as a son, wants to stay at USC so that his dad can attend games.

This thread needs to get locked and a new one started...we're getting dangerously close to 10,000....(or is that not an issue anymore?)

I wouldn't feel bad if I pressured my son to go to UT if he had narrowed it down to the two (not that this would ever happen).

He's a teenager who will be under a lot of pressure and has the opportunity to be on the team (maybe not play) at a top-notch school close to home.

it still happened though, they're still going to advertisement, and at least until cassell turns out bad the next few years with the chiefs - a fair amount of the recruits will love it

It might be a plus that a backup made it to the NFL, but I don't think the recruits will love it. Hey come to USC where you can sit on the bench and make the NFL. Not the best recruiting strategy IMO. Pete is telling him he has different skills than Barkley and he can come in and compete(BS).

So is he announcing today or tomorrow? First it was the 25th. Then it was today. Then it was tomorrow. Yesterday I was hearing on here that he is announcing thursday but a GVX article posted today says it's today. "Jesse Scroggins, who is expected to announce his college choice today." It's in the Kiffin intends to call on himself article. Anyways, just wondering which it is.

He just moved it to last week. Expect our time line to collapse any minute as the ripples of his decision form a new one.

He just moved it to last week? Confused. Haha. Sorry. Make it easy for me and say yes it's today or no it's (blank). :)

If it is today, is it 3:30 ET?

Not announcing until tomorrow. ESPN pushed it back because of programming conflicts.

Are you positive?

"Those must be encouraging words for quarterbacks Jonathan Crompton and Nick Stephens, both of whom struggled last season. Kiffin's comments also must be appealing to quarterback prospects like Jesse Scroggins, who is expected to announce his college choice today."
