I'm not going to get into a pissing match here, but you may be assuming too much by most accounts. Munchie is the only person that I've heard that is of the opinion he is being offered at QB and I think we both know by now that is not a realistic possibility here. Even your boy James Bryant wasn't sold that Munchie had an offer as a QB.

He very well may have, but it's not like he is the only one of that opinion. Ask anyone in the know if Munchie can be a QB here. Go ahead. We've been over this and over this. It aint gonna happen.

Luke S said that he didn't believe the offer for Ed at QB and he covers those guys for a living. I don't believe it at all. Brunetti would have an offer right now if they're gonna offer someone like Sullivan.

I was told about the offer about 3 weeks ago, but didn't believe it, still don't. I thought the Southern Miss offer was about right for him, and if an SEC team comes offering he needs to jump on it.

Are we sure he's 6'0"? Do we know what he measured in at during the Miami Nike Camp? He wasn't 6'0" last fall, and didn't get to stand next to him at Nike Camp to see if he's grown any in height. He certainly has added mass and filled out a lot more.

He spins the ball pretty good, has ok mobility, and above average arm strength. I'm just not sold on him being SEC caliber.

This kid HAS TO commit to us. We have the coaches, name recognition, facilties and athletes to cater to any QB for the next 4 years. How could someone pass up a chance to possibly start all 4 years at Tennessee and go into an aprenticeship at a school like USC or Florida?

All I'm saying is that he has an offer to play QB at UT. If the staff found out they don't want him now, that's fine with me...

I took that comment to mean that he has an offer from UT but he couldn't believe it cuz he didn't think he was good enough. Regardless, Sullivan says he has an offer from UT and Scout does as well. I'm not arguing, I'm just trying to help...

You can't just believe that every offer a prospect claims he has is valid. Sometimes you have to use your brain. Like I said previously, 3 different very reputable sources have stated that they weren't convinced that Legaux has an offer to play QB here. I don't think he ever did.

It may have turned into an offer as an athlete now, but not from the start. They were recruiting him at QB. That's a fact. Beyond that, it is pure speculation. The Vols may have just been trying to "get in the boat", as Orgeron says, in case Legaux's stock exploded. Now, they can just toss him to the side if they feel he can't play QB here. Very good plan if you ask me...

The only person who has ever said that has been Munchie. That, my friend is speculation on your part. I don't think he ever had a committable offer and Sullivan doesn't either. There is a difference in telling a guy "Hey we like you and if you come to camp and prove yourself we wanna give you an offer." And just offering a guy. Like I said, recruits lie about their offers all the time. Sometimes you have to use your brain and ask yourself, is this really a guy UT would offer to play QB? The answer is no in both of these cases.

The coaches would never say it, they can't. The only people that are left is the recruit and perhaps his coaches. Makes sense to me they may have offered based upon upside. It's not like he sucked in the combines or something.

I'm 99% certain that the coaches just use Rivals' rankings to determine which players they like best.

Of the qbs UT is recruiting, that'd make Scroggins #1 on their board.

You'd see a rash of the second string quarterback coming out of Spring always being the starter in the fall. Because the second string guy is ALWAYS better!

I think it forces UW to step it up - I mean they lost a kid from their back yard who grew up a fan. That is a big miss.

Personally, I think Scroggins has to see that UW is not the pace for him. It will come down to USC and a couple of SEC schools. UT being the fav in the SEC. IMO

I like your thinking...I think he will see the depth chart at USC and spurn them even though they are close. It will be a UT-UF race.

Do you think it would be possible to pull scroggins and brunetti. I know obviously its possible. But How likely since Brunetti hasn't even been offered yet as far as I know.
