Actually it would help Jesse a bit if Barkley were to start as a freshman. Pete Carroll pushed the idea that if Barkley did win the starting job, he'd probably forego his senior year (funny Carroll would try to sell that, when he threw a hissy fit when Sanchez declared with one year of eligibility left...although Sanchez had degree in hand at the time), and that would supposedly give Jesse 2 yrs playing time.college football live just had a story about Matt Barkley pushing for the starting job @ usc . maybe this will help us with Scroggins . he may not want to come in behind a freshman starter

Even if that were true, it's still not an ideal scenario to get him into the league. Sanchez had a 1 1/2 yrs as a starter, and Carroll went on and on in the media about how Sanchez REALLY needed that extra year to be ready for the league. Well, that being the case...he's selling Jesse a bag of poo. :bad:
What was I thinking, you're right, those Germans are pesky.:salute:rallen:

Better stay off that thing, cause the more you aggravate it the longer is going to take to heal, and it may not ever heal right. I know cause I fractured my wrist several years ago, similar to Stephens injury and G. Jones.I played with a fractured ankle today :good!:

You don't want to play around with fractures of any kind. I waited a few days before I went to the doctor to have it looked at....thinking I probably just sprained it. Then even with a cast on, I was trying to be as active as I could, and I could tell it was aggravating things. Consequently, when they took the cast off...it hadn't healed, and I ended up having to have surgery. It still never did heal properly. So, don't mess around with that thing. You only get one body in this lifetime.
