Interesting choice for Jesse....He can, go to USC where his family and friends can see him in a trojan uniform on the SIDELINES holding a CLIPBOARD....Yes that's right, CLIPBOARD....Or, He can come to Tennessee where he will be given every opportunity to start as a freshman and become a beloved figure in UT sports history and be a part of one of the greatest historical programs in the country...Not that USC is that bad but you get the idea....So whats it gonna be?....Beverly hills?....Or the Tennessee hills?....Either way I wish this young man all the success in the world be it at USC or Tennessee.

Of our people here that are "in the know". It seems ooltewahvol and Rubby Ducky guy are the only ones thinking Scroggins will be a Vol. Sab and Eric are both now in the USC camp. Sab was on the UT side until recently. I think Rex thinks he is a Torjan.

I hope the ones thinking he is all Vol are right!

People "in the know?" They are not "in the know" they are people who follow this stuff religiously and read articles.

The only person on here that I would say is 100% "in the know," would be LWS.

I forgot about LWS.

I don't think anyone is truly totally sure about what will happen tomorrow. I think he is probably a USC HEAVY lean. I know nothing other than what I read. I hope he chooses the Vols.

I have been following this thread for a while now and will be glad when he commits somewhere. That way I can start following another QB thread :)

LWS has more than public knowledge, imo.

He also processes that knowledge better than most of us (or, at least me, least I offend someone else).

Even if Scroggins goes to USC, this staff can work him if Barkley indeed does redshirt. I think it's highly probable with Corp as the starter and Mustain as the backup. I can't see Pete wasting a year of Barkley's eligibility just to come in and mop up late in the 4th QTR a few games.
That's why I expect we will likely just secure one QB before the season starts, either way.

They will probably then hold off and evaluate a few prospects, including Grayson, Cam Newton, Baty, etc. during the season, for the 2nd spot.
