No kidding. That's how coaches talk. They don't all sound exactly like him, but they all have their phrases. It's because the teach through repitition, - verbal and physical. Why would he use a different vocab in a presser? It's not the State of the Union Address.

CBJ's repetition of vocabulary is his moniker; some coaches provide insight, a nuance into certain match-ups at their pressers.

I do like it when he reminds us he is coaching "the football team of the University of Tennessee".

If the old guys can recite by rote....imagine what stare/gaze the players have to maintain.:blink:

He went all Crash Davis on us eh? Guess so. I would've liked to hear him say "we expect to, we're planning to win all five games, we believe we can win all 5 games. Winning all 5 of our remaining games and getting to 8 wins this year is now our goal and we're gonna do everything we can to get there".

IMHO, you can take em all one at a time on the way to winning all 5 of them. Jmo.
