Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders, you gotta have that one, a little extra effort please. Man what a heartbreak for the Blue Raiders against Kentucky, caught off the deflection and then stopped at the one yardline, looks like Kentucky is an SEC doormat, back to their old ways again.

Don't be obtuse. MTSU is a good team. They beat Maryland last week, which beat a ranked team this week.

I'm glad to escape with a win.

You sound like us in the past few years trying explain wins over teams like UAB, Air Force and Vandy.

I hadn't seen the infamous UK-LSU finish until ESPN showed it during their game breakdown. Eery how similar the 2 plays were minus 1 yard.

On a similar note, our kicker from Knoxville, missed 3 fgs and had another one blocked at the end of the game that set up the hail mary. I'm ready to ship his butt back to you all.

Only if you send us your punter too.

We actually use 2 punters, Tydlacka, a short range accuracy guy, and Masthay, who can kick the he77 out of the ball.

And sorry, I've talked to them both, and they hate Tennessee.

MTSU has an excellent coach and qb. Reminds me of the qb they had a while back that went pro, Kelly I think it was.

The MTSU radio guys said they got hosed on holding calls on both the opening kickoff and the blocked FG return at the end of the game. And, they weren't sore losers either - they had many good things to say about the home fans.

Also, in hindsight, it was probably a bad idea to attempt the FG.
MTSU radio: "He wouldn't attempt a FG and risk getting it blocked, would he? Well, a 9-pt lead is pretty big. The kick is up - and they blocked it!"

This is true.

Until it starts costing the program 50,000$ fines.

...and how much time was there when he attempted that FG???

sounds like the stupid call of the year from what I heard. No way MTSU goes 90 yards unless Kentucky hands it to them with a blocked kick.
