09 CA S Byron Moore - UT Commit

skeeter

will the decision be announced @ 11 or will it be sometime later in the show?

im not familiar with the blogradio site. is the show half hour or one hour? is he the only recruit announcing tonight with them? if so i would guess the announcement would be towards the end. just a guess on my part.

So let me add to this...

Hypothetically we can add 5 players.

Let's say they are out of:

Clear
Richardson
Moore
Dawson
Wright
Mackey
Jernigan

Any of these five are worth at least 140 points. Extra points for things in my quote. 140*5=700...

Right now we are 1493 points, so if we land any of these five together we are looking at around 700 points to that, which would put us with 2193 points and right now that would rank us at #6. Of course, other schools will land highly rated prospects and some players will switch so I see us finishing right around 10-11 in this class. Not bad IMO.

Here's an explanation of their scoring system if you're interested:

Rivals formula for how they figure recruiting class points - WeAreSC Forums

I've programmed this into a spreadsheet and my calculation has been accurate every time we've had a new commit

He may want to go to Miami. He may be a silent to Miami. He may have been about to announce Miami. But first, he has to get in Miami. That means all of his credits have to transfer.

He's wanted here, he'll do great here and he can get in here. Today.

If you don't mind, will you plug it into your spreadsheet and see what it comes out to if we happen to get:

Moore
Clear
Richardson
Dawson
Wright

That is actually my final projection...

That would give us 1910 points...based on average finishes over the last 5 years that would make us 12th

Who knows exactly who the last few will be, but I think your projection is about right. I didn't have the formula in a spreadsheet, but using rough approximations I came up with something comparable - really don't see us getting into that top 10 range, but shaping up to be a great class nonetheless.

Moore will be a Cane. He just wanted to throw people off after his silent commitment was made public after his UM visit.

like I said before...the show is 3 hours long...I know they are going to be talking with Keyshawn Johnson about the super bowl amongst other things...if that decision is not until late in the show...we are talking 2AM..not 11pm.

It just seems too obvious to me. Multiple UM recruits straight up saw the guy commit on his OV.

I personally have little doubt he did. I do have doubts though as to whether it will stick for them. It appears we won't know for sure until he says so.

Vol.

Shocked if otherwise.

1. Said he knew before Miami visit.
2. Dad committed to Wilcox after visit.
3. Arnett tweet response corroborates.

1. Really? Where?
2. Doesnt mean anything. His Dad could have swayed him and there is not 100% proof this even happened.
3. Means absolutely NOTHING. This kid is trying so hard to throw people off you honestly think hes going to tip his hat that easily?

You are grasping at straws on this one.

My 3 points are all true and can be verified by reading this thread. Moore absolutely said he knew before the Miami trip. Said it on the same day his dad called Wilcox. He must have meant Tennessee or he would not have made this quote the same day his dad called him.

Dad called, Wilcox was jubilant. Skeeter witnessed it. The third piece of evidence is shaky, admittedly. But it is from the horse's mouth and he has gone through the recruiting process before. I doubt he has as much of a need for drama as he did the last time through. His message to Arnett was cryptic. Maybe he genuinely wanted to help Arnett recruit...

This stuff is such a waste of time. Things change too quickly. I am going to try and avoid clicking on this thread again until 9 MST.

I want this guy so bad.

Totally Homo, if that's what it takes.

That means absolutely nothing. Most of these recruits tell players at every school they visit that they are "coming".

It's what they tell the coaches behind closed doors that really matters.

I don't think many doubt he committed to Miami on his visit. I also think most think things changed between then and now.

EDIT: Yeah what he^^ said. Lol.
