09 CA S Byron Moore - UT Commit

Fulmer was always known as a strong closer when it came to recruiting.

Dooley is taking it to another level. I ( jmo here) would be hard pressed to find 5 coaches I would trade him for. Very excited about our near future.

Fulmer was a good closer early on. But the last 5-7 years he was extremely up and down. He'd be great closing one year and absolutely terrible the next.

So true! The roster he left on campus after his firing was absolutely brutal. The redshirt seniors on the 09 team weren't bad, but after that the roster was absolutely awful in the upperclasses.

Exactly why we will only have one starter on our roster from his 08 class in the fall.

From TOS

Just heard an update Moore is supposed to be announcing (committing) tomorrow at lunchtime, however some things have leaked. He is or has just talked to Dooley and I believe the news will officially come today. Stay tuned to the GQ for BRAJP official story. Go Vols. That's all for now. Will have a Maggitt story up soon.

sounds like it could be good news for us...if he was going to pick Miami, I don't think he would be contacting Dooley...we shall see.GBO!

That's as telling a stat as you will ever see. To have one starter on the roster from an entire recruiting class is absolutely pathetic, especially when that will be the senior class for that season.

06' stands out to me....we were in on several (5-6) big time DT's and didn't land a single one on signing day...and we lost Goggins and another big time WR we were in on...that was a bad day..

Whatever happened to Walter Fisher, the stud out of Coffeyville C.C.?

Rumored that the academic standard at UM were to high for Moore. Not saying that is why he didn't go to Miami or that he is only going here by default, but it is something to think about. I have read somewhere that UM has high standards for JUCO kids and that sometimes it is hard for them to get in.

I would guess SEC schools lose more (or at least as many) jucos than Miami would

So is that why his dad is upset and Miami insiders were shocked? Pretty sure it's not.
