0% chance of beating Florida

I'm fully expecting to be blown out next week and was thinking that even if we pulled out the win today.

BS. Tennessee has more talent than Ole Miss. Troy gave Florida all they could handle earlier. You're stupid if you don't think Tennessee could have beat Florida at least 1 in 100 tries before this morale beat down.

We won 56-6 how did they give us all we could handle. The game was close for a quarter when it was pouring down rain.

Lol I agree with everything you said except I would bet $50 that he wasn't around for the Zook years. Every team has rough years. UF is in the golden age of the program, so why do these rejects need to talk smack? It sure doesn't help Florida's SoS with UT losing. Why would someone root for that to happen?

Well, it dampens the spirits of the players that's for sure. UT's team morale took a big hit today and on Saturday they are entering the swamp and the crowd will make it very difficult for Tennessee to execute proper plays.

If the same Tennessee team shows up next week, it will be over early and we'll just be another sacrificial lamb to the Gators.

I hope we can do better though.

Unless Florida fumbles 6 times like they did today, UT did not have a remote chance anyway. Fulmer left you with nothing on offense.

I didn't think you guys were going to a bowl game with this team before the year but after seeing yall almost beat a good UCLA team with 3 picks(!!!) I think you will. You guys have a lot to be excited about next year.

Thanks for the kind words. Seems UT's defense has kept them in ballgames over the past decade and the offense took a vacation, again and again and again.

UT will need a top 5 recruiting class and better overall disciplined play from this team to be a threat for the SEC championship next year.

Thank you Gator fan with me most class of anyone I've seen even on this board. You are one of the few people who watch college football who actually know what you're talking about. :good!:

For a quarter and a half they did. I don't know what game you watched. Also, are you uneducated? Why would you highlight "Tennessee has more talent than Ole Miss" only to talk about something else I said. You must be smoking the funny stuff.

First I would like to say that our defense played their hearts out no matter what anyone says. I was at the game along with 100,000 plus fans. If you don't agree then you are just as blind as Crompton. But in all seriousness, I am not a fan that bashes and hates on their team when things aren't going so hot. If they just won 1 game all season, i'd still be a fan. Each and every team in the NCAA has had a bad year at least once or more times. It takes time for programs to build, its not going to change dramaticly in 1 season. As far as J. Crompton, he is a poor quarterback at this moment, probably among the worst in the whole country. He threw 3? 4? pics, that is just poor decision making, not really the Offensive lines fault at all in that game. He does not have the mental state right now, especially when being rushed in the pocket, he panics it seems. the last redzone drive of fourth and one on the two was called poorly. A bootleg or a HB toss to the right would have given a better chance of being successfully executed that a predictable run up the middle with no lead...stupid call:banghead2:...game could have been over and ucla's QB would have gone home without a broken jaw :post-4-1090547912: . BUT, it is just one game, one game of many to come, one game that can't be changed now, only to be prevented from happening again this week, and this week is FLORIDA! Our defense i know will be ready, whether or not we can keep them from getting completley worn out is up to the offense. I do recall fans saying SEC champs this year! and also National champs this year or next! no lies, i heard it at the western kentucky game, in one week it changes, so y not change back after this week, NOT to a national title hope this year, or even an sec championship. but a team that is capable of upsetting the number 1 team in the country. Its happened many times in the past. So the offense with Jonathon Crompton need to climb several flights of staires to get back on track this week and improve, and do it fast. Put Stephens in if Crompton starts back to his UCLA throwin ways, and i mean yank his arse outta there if he makes 1 mistake.

GO VOLS!

Tennessee may have more talent, but Ole Miss is a better team.

And saying Troy gave Florida all they could handle earlier is about as effective as saying WKU gave us all we could handle earlier. Both ways it's pretty stupid.

Does it really cost $80,000 to get an undergrad degree from UT?? Sorry, but UT is a state school that is ranked in the middle, at best, of state unis. A 4-year UT undergrad education should not cost more than $40.

If the team that played WKU shows up, then there is a competitive game and maybe the bettors make some money on the under.
On the other hand, if it is out of control by halftime, leave Crompton in for at least three quarters, then get Stephens some reps and prepare him for Ohio in the fourth.

Talent and Great team aren't the same thing.

Y'all are missing something big..and that's really apparent..which is a QB.

It'll be tough this Saturday.

Good luck. ;)

All he's doing is patronizing you, and I guess you feel so pitiful that you actually liked it?

3 picks...that's expected out of Crompton whenever he's asked to win a game, which he was asked to do so vs. UCLA. And let's face it, that UCLA team is not terrible, but probably not very good either, and they beat you at your own house.

Not quite 0% - there is a chance Florida could be forced to forfeit, after PETA is granted a temporary injunction to halt the game, or incur the inevitable destruction of earthworm habitat at the hand of Crompton.

Rome was not built in a day. Its going to take time.
We are 100x better than we were last year. What did you guys expect that we would all of a sudden be world beaters?
Just have a little Patience, this journey is going to be well worth it in the end.

There is always a chance no matter how slim. Football is a week to week game. I refuse to go into the game thinking it's an automatic loss.

I didn't think Ole Miss had a chance to beat Florida in the swamp after losing to Vandy....

In all fairness there was 0% chance of beating UF this year before the coaching changes last year. But, as is every Saturday in the fall, on any collegiate field in the nation, the unexpected does rear it's ocassional head. Not counting on the gators to be over confident and unprepared however. Overlooking teams does not seem to be an UM trademanrk.
