What a genius move to change from eight in the box to 3 rushing 8 back by South Carolina. It sure worked for Tennessee 2 yrs ago against Florida.. Almost always prevent defenses prevent teams from winning....

It's worse than we think.

I looked at the conference winning percentage of teams over the last 10 years.

Tennessee conference winning percentage of 0.386 places it at 5th out of 7 if we just look at the SEC East; if we look at the entire SEC conference, we would rank 11th out of 14 ... beating only Ole Miss, Vandy, and Kentucky.

To put it in context, Alabama's winning percentage over the same period, was 0.857.

If you just look at the record since Butch was hired in 2013, Tennessee only has a better WPCT than Vandy, Kentucky, and Arkansas.

Tennessee is starting to look like a school that doesn't care about winning. If we lose big to Bama which seems likely then Jones should be gone. I can understand waiting until after Bama wouldn't want to put that on an interim or a new coach. This would be the time to bring in an interim or a new coach preferably new coach because we need to save as much of recruiting as we can also.

Not saying this in support of Butch, but if Hoke does well against the weak back end of our schedule and we end the year with an Ed Orgeron case on our hands...well, then what?

Not just that but Hoke is so brilliant when he was at Michigan he couldn't figure out his QB had a concussion. Guess he just thought he was staggering around because he was hungover from the previous night. No thanks, he doesn't deserve to be in charge again.
