😎 (it's about to go down)

I still can't tell whether Todd Kirk was being serious or playing us all in that last post.
I doubt he was playing. Our internet sleuths started checking his story and it fell apart quickly. It wouldn't surprise me if he never posted again under Todd Kirk. Egg is hard to get off your face once it dries

I wasn't familiar with other boards, discords, etc so had no idea he was ripping off info. He fooled me.

There was always signs. Don’t think someone in the know would be asking questions. Also asked about Adams news.

Don’t quote me on this, but the first post form the screenshot that he deleted talked about trilly’s discord specifically iirc

Are we sure ZZ will play for Tennessee if he gets his 5th year?

There are no guarantees, and money is money, but I can’t imagine Zeigler returning to school and playing elsewhere. His legacy as a five-year Vol would objectively be worth more in the long run than being a mercenary elsewhere for his final season.

It really was clear as day in hindsight. But after his first two predictions came true, it made sense to trust him.

Objectively?

Okay, fair, not "objective." I, personally, have a hard time believing that whatever ZZ would receive above and beyond Tennessee is theoretically offering would financially offset him ending his career as a Vol. I get that stumping the autograph circuit isn't anyone's dream nor is it raking in a fortune, but there have to be other benefits to hanging 'em up as a beloved player at UT.

I agree. They’ll try to keep him. He’ll try to stay.

Between us and the 2300 walls here, when you say try, is my brain way off base thinking the biggest reason he wouldn’t is because we just landed probably the best PG in the portal, and ZZ is VFL enough not to want to ruffle feathers? That’s my brain asking?

It’s been evolving. Barnes originally told him to go on with his life. That’s typically Barnes’ position. Gainey has hung around in hopes that the rule will change. Only recently, some attorneys gave ZZ the read that they thought he had a good case and the money justifies trying. It’s unexpected, but the word is we’ll pay an attractive number to keep him here. Gillespie is for it too. Gainey doesn’t have the “missed season” defense so he’ll have to wait out the ruling.

The bold is interesting to me, but also very encouraging news.

Sadly autocorrect changed “actually” to “accidentally”.
I thought you had intentionally introduced a third Aristotelian category -- that of accident -- to complement @Derek Reese's jumpshot 's mention of subject and object.

In just over a day I've had stolen from me both the hope that it's about to go down and the opportunity of alluding to the Aristotelian category of substance before a comprehending audience.

How much suffering can one man endure?

ZZs lawsuit is filed in the same court that we sued the NCAA in : United States, District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
It’s going to be interesting procedurally to see what the next move is. 😎
