Ranked above us in each poll, Duke has beaten two Top-20 teams, whereas Tennessee has only beaten two Top-5 teams.

Guess they're waiting to see how we do against somebody good.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK​

SHAE O’ROURKE – R-JUNIOR – FORWARD – TENNESSEE​

O’Rourke has been an instant hit after transferring from Texas A&M. She scored a brace against UNC in her Tennessee debut and has now scored in four straight games to start the season.

She has helped lead the Volunteers to wins with game-winning goals against two top-10-ranked opponents and is averaging a goal scored every 42 minutes through the first two weeks of the season.

TEAM OF THE WEEK​

TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS​

They went from not ranked to top 10 after their win against preseason-ranked #1 UNC, and then went on to beat #4 UCLA. They also beat Eastern Kentucky and LMU handily and have yet to allow a goal. Through their first four games, they have scored 15 goals and allowed none. With two of those wins coming against preseason top 10 teams, they have gotten off to just about as perfect a start as you could ask for.

I think most of the 346 at LMU were Lady Vol fans.

Joe Kirt picked up 3 players in the transfer portal, all played in the SEC and are impact players.

I don’t think he gets enough credit in how he is able to get the best talent in the country.


We all know how great Shae O’Rourke has been.





Anaiyah Robinson has been day to day and hopefully will be fit by the next match.

She scored twice against Tennessee last year.




Kylee Simmons unfortunately tore her ACL in preseason and is out for the year.


She also scored against Tennessee .
