Listen I’ve always rolled my eyes at the conspiracy theories about “ESPN hates us” but I pulled up the front page and saw this: “Tennessee ‘knuckleball’ stuns Bama”.

Sounds like a backhanded compliment? It went through the uprights ok? Also GO DAMN VOLS.
Well, that kick did look ugly as sin in the air, but it worked.

I mean the title isn’t wrong. I don’t like ESPN either but this is kind of grasping at straws. It was a knuckleball kick and it did stun Alabama. They were on the verge of winning with a kick and then we ended up getting a GW kick after getting the ball back with 15 seconds.

Phil Niekro would have been proud.

It wasn't kicked into a knuckle; it was kicked into some fingers... that's what made it go "duck".

All good - silly announcers had called a long, exciting, game of the year. I can't fault them for not seeing that. Go Vols!

Yep - Bammer jumped over the pile and got some fingers on it.

I still can’t believe that ball went 40 yards. I kept expecting it to land on like the 10 yard line.
