Yes, he earned it at a camp.

Lipscomb Academy finally caved and let him start last month of the season on varsity. Threw at a 66% clip for 893 yards and four touchdowns.

Difference:
BEFORE: 1-5, 18.6 points per game
AFTER: 2-2, 28.5 points per game

Saw him at Under Armour Nashville with Andre Adams (top in-state 2027 QB), Kingston Preyear (2028 QB with P4 offers), Femi Babalola (will go P4 soon, '26), Jameson Purcell (27 QB with P4 offers) and another premier 2029 QB and Snell was one of the best players there.

He camped at Vandy, Tennessee, Miss St, and Memphis in the last week or so. Got offers from all four immediately. He has FIVE-STAR potential. IMG wanted him and he went but realized it wasn't for him and came back to Lipscomb Academy

Kent Austin was insanely good in middle school at Northside in Brentwood. My uncle was the coach. He said they could’ve beaten high schools with Kent at QB and they passed more than most high schools.

Gotcha, it’ll be interesting to see who we pursue then, cause I could see it being like ‘23 scenario where manning and nico were the top 2 players in the country, like I could see snell and Marshall being top 2 players as well

Father told Tennessean they are looking at moving back to Texas or Ty going back to IMG Academy. Regardless he will no longer be playing high school football in Tennessee. Really sucks for the Vols in terms of being able to get him on campus game after game after game

He and family were pissed that LA wouldn't spend to get players like Dilfer did............"old" David Lipscomb defeated Lipscomb Academy in a massive upset.
