Never thought this year our Defense would be our handicap... wow, that was an awful performance overall against a very basic offense... we couldn't get off the field on 3rd or even 4th down and they were throwing and running at will the second half. Pretty pathetic.

SEC will feast on us--- like a few years ago when we had to outscore people to win because we couldn't stop anyone on offense.

8-4 if we are lucky and don't lose anyone else on D....

QB played well once he settled in

WR's have a LOT of work to do

Thats actually a pretty decent offense.

The RB ROOM IS ELITE. The OL showed up. And the new offensive wrinkles gave me much hope about Heup moving forward.

This defense has potential. I think we have enough elite DBs to play teams head up (especially when McCoy gets back)

Cuse will have a good offense this year in the ACC. We were banged up on d/rotating a lot of players in. We just can’t allow 3rd and longs and 4th downs to be picked up like that. Hopefully it won’t be an issue going forward

For sure. Always a good idea to add blue chip recruits to the lines every year.

We do have about 5 DL already committed this year, so may see some rankings bumps or some decommits and upgrades?

Additional thoughts:

1. Looked very conservative on offense. BUT, but you can tell Agwheelharr has so much more of a grasp that Burr.

2. Defense is young. Hoping the DL being held out is preventative.

3. So much more athletic on D.

4. RB. What can you say? D needs to hit hole harder. But Starr and Plew👀

5. Syracuse has a better offense than we give credit.

6. Massive plays by DBs.

7. WR need to keep playing like this. Better than last year so far.
