What is worrying me, is that usually good defenses have a advantage over offenses that haven't been together very long...and our defense is looking like gangbusters for a drive, and then going softer than a 60 year old with lowT the next.

I hope we work whatever the issue is out...we need our defense to be what we thought it was going to be.

I thought Syracuse would have a hard time scoring 13, and I thought we would be forcing FGs if they did move the ball...but they have shoved it down our throat every time they get close...that is concerning.

IMO - Less and less full contact practices mean all the stuff gets shaken out in the early games.
