I’m expecting a pretty slow start and a late pull away. Too many new pieces on offense to not have some growing pains imo
Agreed. I think we get an ugly first half, the uglies on this site come out in droves talking about how we never should have let Nico walk, blah blah blah…and then we pull away in the second half and everyone is happy again.

Will there be a Vol Walk and if so, where?
I cannot find any mention of it anywhere. Sorta disappointing. Maybe the stadium is just not set up for it.

I do find there was no Vol Walk when we played in this kickoff game in 2017.
"Every away stadium has different security procedures, and because of that we were not able to have a Vol Walk for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game," UT football spokesman Zach Stipe wrote in a text message Monday.

The last time we went to a game in Atlanta we lucked into being at the team hotel, so we had a spirited Vol Walk in the lobby. 🍊 Once before that I got to take my son to a bowl week practice (at Georgia Tech). Maybe you will luck into something.

I suspect Squirrell’s move made a lot of sense. Rumor was that he was looking for more money. With only one year left and Staley waiting in the wings, it made no sense to overpay.

He has a baby and depending on his NFL prospects this may be his last chance to get a bag that he wasn’t getting in Knoxville.

Really intrigued how this one will shape up. Obviously the main question is around Aguilar. Besides that, I want to see/have questions about

1. The pass rush. Want to see Josephs step up to be an elite edge rusher.
2. Adequate safety play. Need some elevated play from Turrentine and assuming Farooq. Biggest question mark on the team IMO.
3. Pass blocking. We can run block, but how well can we protect JA. How often are we going to line up in 12 personnel for blocking purposes?
4. Ethan Davis. Big year for him, especially with Kitselman being off of surgery.

Can't wait for the game. I think we'll be clunky offensively but too much power and speed for Cuse defense. Angeli will play smart I'm sure but I don't think Syracuse can run the ball consistently at all. I'll take UT 27-16. I'd take the under on 50.5

I think Aguilar will be fine if we protect him but the two things that worry me the most is will the receivers perform and who will step up to provide a pass rush.

I just found the Vol Walk in the Atlanta newspaper.

Just before the gates open to the stadium, players from each team will make celebratory walks through The Home Depot Backyard, an 11-acre outdoor green space on the north side of the stadium. The players will unload from team buses and parade down a walkway while being greeted by cheerleaders, team marching bands and fans. Anyone can partake in this high-energy celebration to usher in their favorite players.

The team walks will start at roughly 9:45 a.m. on Saturday (gates open at 10 a.m.

Top 5 worst poster on the entire site

Vols 41
Cuse 13
Appreciate the vote of confidence 👍

But don’t get me wrong tho, I think we win. Im thinking it’ll be more of a 27-17 type of game. We have a lottttt of new pieces that we are putting together that will have to gel

WGWT*A!!!...I hope the Big Orange Men have a massive chip on their shoulder from the mountains of disrespect shown them this offseason and come out really grumpy and ready to lay a old fashioned Tennessee Holler stompin on these small orangeguys.

Big Orange 38
Little Orange 13

250+ rushing
Have no idea on passing...I honestly don't know what to expect but I hope it's in the 225-50 range at least, and I hope JA looks and plays more like all the really good-great QBs Heupel has had and not Joe or Nico.

Defense does what it does..
