-said Lane Kiffin to Nick Saban at mid-field after the game in 2009...

Hire him...

With an AD as bad as ours, we need a coach with that kind of tenacity to cut through all the bullsh!t.

Lane burnt that bridge to the ground in 2009

It should be a lesson to some of you in the real world when you leave a job. Do it with grace and dignity and if you ever need to come back, you will be welcomed back. Do it like Lane, and they might throw some change to you while you lay on the sidewalk, dirty and smelling of piss

Totally different picture when the job you left is a total dumpster fire and you did a good job while there with a few ethical issues but nothing illegal

Dude, let it go. Being this angry is not healthy.

He took a team depleted of talent, that had lost to Wyoming under the great leadership of Phil Fulmer, using two walk on offensive linemen and a quarterback that couldn’t complete a 5 yard pass and scared the crap out of Alabama.

Yet we were 30 point underdogs to both Florida and Bama and lost by 10 to Florida (for most part was very smart called game by Lane) and was a few blocked kicks away from beating Bama.

Loss to Ole Miss was morale loss after Bama game.

Let me guess, you don’t think his 6 win improvement at FAU is anything?

Sorry but wyoming loss was on the AD/admin.

Just like blowout loss to Ole Miss was due to heartbreak loss at Bama.

Oh great we are back in the moral victory world. So he was 7-5, but really 9-3 bc of moral victories, but wait we got our ass handed to us by VA Tech in the bowl so that should really count as two losses, so now we are at 9-4, but you know that while I am going to have my coaches call recruits and tell them not to report to class well that was a pretty big dbag move so for that let's just say 0-12. He went 7-5 stop with all this he held him close crap.

after that 2009 FL game, even in that loss, i believed him.

boosters don't want him. curries doesn't like him.

it isn't happening. i'd take him. but it's not going to happen.

Gotta love the moral victories over UF and Bama that the Kiffin fanboys trot out. What about the horrible, embarrassing loss to 7-6 UCLA at home? How about the ugly loss at home to first year Gene Chizik. Yes, that Gene Chizik. And the humiliating loss to Ole Piss. And then the crushing loss to Virginia Tech. The team that even Botch stomped. Even UK took us to overtime that year.

the worst part about the lane kiffin deal is that it is tennessee's fault tennessee won't hire him.

this program has fundamental failure at almost every level of leadership, and has continued to have it for more than a decade.

and a guy that could be good as a coach here, wants the job, isn't going to get a sniff, because some other doofuses at Tennessee failed at leadership 10 years ago.

"this is tennessee". paying for failures by the decade.
