Dan Marino is still the greatest QB I've ever seen play the game and he never won a Superbowl.

The truth is Elway, Brady, Manning, Marino, Montana, Bradshaw, Unitas, and Favre all have a case for greatest of all time imo

I don't care what your natural talent was or how many stats you put up - if you never won a SB, and only made it to a single one in your rookie year, it is extremely difficult to even make a case for them being the greatest of all time.

I know football is a team sport and winning a SB is a team accomplishment, but it is unique in that a single position, QB, has more responsibilities that any other position and is very integral to the success of the team.

You're right. Trent Dilfer is awesome.

It's clearly Brady. It really isn't even a matter of opinion at this point.

No its clearly not Brady. Its clearly not anyone. Especially in a sport where there are 10 other members of your side of the ball. Different eras and different rules. No way to compare. Brady is the best of his era. But thats it.
