Shut up defending yourself about what you write or do not write right now.

This is sad and not the place to discuss it. The report said it was on a tackle and his head was up.

But, who cares. A young man is dead and it is very sad.

Prayers to the family and all the young men on the field that night and his teammates.

So it wasn't a random medical condition that caused a collapse?

Sucks no matter the cause. One thing is for sure. High school level football is a leader in player safety, this could lead to stricter safety measures... Not saying that to be insensitive, just saying because this is a message board about football.

One of my good friends died during our agility drills when I was in high school. He had some kind of undiagnosed heart condition. It was terrible. Prayers go out to the young mans family.

Not what I was expecting when opening this thread but prayers with the family!!!!!!!! I can't even imagine the parents watching this and the same for the child that died he's playing a game he loves, having fun and the the next play it's all over........... Man it's just horrible i don't even know what to say

According to the most recent AJC story it was not a collapse. He tackled someone and broke his neck. Terrible.

2 or 3 will dye across the country this year and every year, thats just the way it is the odds game. R.I.P. young man, you are in the HEAVEN football hall of fame.

Maybe all the stargazers that keep saying he's no good will now shut up. It was a matter of time before everyone saw that Evan was pretty big time. He just didn't Camp. He goes to IMG camp and is moved up soon after. He's a baller.
