In most cases in younger leagues the best athlete plays QB. Same as a pitcher or SS in baseball. They are capable of playing multiple positions well.

He could have been great.

I played flag football against him.. He could've written his ticket to the nfl if he cared. He half assed almost everything when I lined up against him... Except a couple of plays when they had to have big yards, he would just fly by everyone n our secondary(full of college players) like we were standing still

I just hate to see someone throw away talent like that. Lamarcus Coker comes to mind too.

Makes u wonder how many could've been the next randy moss or Kobe bryant.. Tons of kids that never get to their potential.

Its a shame. Makes you think what some of these young kids could make of themselves with proper, and at times, hard core guidance. Good high school and middle school coaches are undervalued.

Evan Berry admitted Tennessee is a little bit ahead of the other teams recruiting him, and the Vols probably could be considered his leader, but he stressed that he's still wide open. He and his brother haven't visited a lot of schools, and they're hoping to get to several places this summer. No timetable for a decision, but he and Elliott both said they're planning to be a package deal. They said they can't imagine going to different schools.
Evan said he wants to play wide receiver in college, and he recently has talked with Tennessee and other teams about playing there. He said he just wants the ball in his hands, and the Vols are open to that. He also said Ohio State recently has offered him and is discussing using him in a Percy Harvin-type role, although Elliott said he doesn't have an offer from Ohio State.
Vols running backs coach Robert Gillespie stopped at Creekside today to check on the Berrys.
