‘18 CA CB Isaac Taylor-Stuart (USC signee)

Something we've not had in a long time. I can't recall any WC recruits under Kiffin, Dooley or Butch except for Rivera and Malik Jackson from USC, who fell in our lap.

I can remember Foster, the Clausen's, Ainge, O'Neal, Burnett and Stallworth, but not since the early 2000's.

Kevin Simon and Onterrio Smith also.

Didn't Kiffin bring in Tyler Bray? But yes, not too many. McKenzie, but I wouldn't really count him.

Obviously he’s a taller corner like this staff wants. They literally are telling him he can come in and start day one

Just imagine this DB class : Isaac Stuart-Taylor, Olaijah Griffin , Jeremy Webb, Jaycee Horn ... Loaded

Realistically even if we just hit on 2 of these guys (say, one of the first two and one of the last two), it should be big for the defense next year.

““I wasn’t considering Tennessee at first but then I talked to the coaches and so then I liked what they were doing,” Taylor-Stuart said. “So I had to change my top schools. It was going to be Ohio State but Tennessee seemed way better.””-Rivals

Wow. What a difference in the staff evaluations. I highly doubt Butch's staff would have evn gotten so much as a glance from this guy. ELITE DB.

So in about a week this staff convinced a 5* from California with zero ties to Tennessee to visit.....And make his top group over Ohio State.

Pruitt is going to make Butch look like Dooley when it comes to recruiting.

I've heard the term Doodley Squat.... is he where the term originated?

We seem better than the mighty Ohio state? But all these media talking heads say the great Greg Schiano coaches that defense. How are we possibly better??

Blue font just in case someone's sarcasm meter is broken.

I agree. I also feel like Theo Jackson could be a possibility at boundary CB.

Well we know for sure Byrd will finally be on D in some capacity, CB seems like a likely position for him considering Warrior, Jackson, MALEIK GRAY!, and Abernathy have the safety positions locked down.

Byrd, Shamburger, Labruzza, Osbourne will be at CB, i think Gaulden will stay at his nickel spot. Either way i feel much better about our secondary now than i ever did last year. Adding Byrd and Gray in the mix with a year under Sham’s belt will be great.
