I think too many people don't realize that the schools themselves do not pay the athletes. NIL is starring in a commercial for subway, being on billboards for T-Mobile, representing a cookie shop in Knoxville, etc. You can't cap my ability to make as much as a company is willing to pay me to...
They don't get money from UT. They sign endorsement and sponsorship deals. I suppose those may be year long deals or however long the sponsoring company or individual amd the player agree upon. In other words, its his money...he earned it.
So a dude that wants to be given a diagnosis for an injury that affects his body and the ability to play the game he obviously loves (I'm reading into the tweet), and that would seem to want to play for a team that would take care of him... is a head case? That's what you take from that tweet...
If he had underperformed there would be no loyalty to him most likely. It's a two way street. Of you don't look out for number one in any job, you're in a world of hurt.

The drinks are one thing, but the sex and strip clubs is perfectly legal, and between consenting adults (if there was sex involved). Those athletes were over 18.

I was at this game! Row 7 in the student section, right behind the Florida bench. I was soaked in places I didn't know could be soaked. What a memory that is.
I also happened to be standing in line in TBA to pay my tuition and fees, and Heath was waiting with his girlfriend (I suppose she was...
Because NIL has nothing to do with you or "privileged athletes"... Its endorsement deals, just like professional athletes and celebrities of all kinds have. *YOU* don't pay for anything other than whatever the school uses your donation for. It amuses me you have this vision that these kids...
