Yeah the drop should be more incorporated, but was the changeup not called as much because it had become much more hittable? Seemed like they were floating in high, and often above 65. Hopefully they can work more this off season fine tuning that pitch because looking back at her freshman year...
I’m not a pitching person but looking back at KP’s pitching performances from early in her career - she was throwing the changeup right around 60. Mostly around 59. I know she is throwing harder overall these days, but at the WCWS the changeup was around 66. What else has changed over the years...

Don’t really need arms, though. Need big bats. We’ve seen it year after year. The pitching is there. Last year we thought we needed another with Pickens and Gottshall. This year we figured we’d need more behind Pickens. It’s the offense we should spend the big bucks to get IMO.
